I just bought a 2022 CRV EXL Hybrid from Crown Honda. Hybrids are hard to find right now because of lower production (chip shortage) and increased gas prices. I talked to Toyota and they said they could order me a RAV4 hybrid with an ETA of 8 to 19 months. From the time I originally contacted Crown Honda until I drove off the lot was only 4 days. The salesman that I dealt with was Enver Bekric. He was great to work with, both over the phone and in person. He answered detailed questions very clearly about the car and the deal, sat in the car and explained the new technology (the enhanced safety features is one of the reasons I bought the car), took us for a test drive, and help us setup the electronic options on the car to meet our specific needs. I've bought a lot of cars and this is the best sales experience I've ever had. We paid full MSRP for the car which seems to be the best you can do in the current market. However, I got a really good price for my trade-in so the net cost for a new car was quite good (another reason why I bought the car). So, if you have a trade-in, now could be a smart time to buy. If you want to check it out, you can go to Crown Honda's website where you can checkout the trade-in value of your car. We also worked with Athena Jondro who is a financial services manager. She handled the detail calculations of the final, net purchase price. Because of the trade-in and the fact that we were transferring our old plates to the new car, the numbers were slightly different (slightly less) than the original estimate. She also provided us with the cost of different service plans and we decided to purchase an extended ten year Honda service plan for about $2,300. We plan on keeping this car for a while and it seemed like it would be a good idea to have the extra coverage because of all the additional electronics in the new car. I appreciated the fact that Athena had thoughtfully selected an extended service plan that best matched our mileage usage profile. Lastly, Enver is great to work with over the phone and in person. If you want to understand the current, unusually market for cars and want clear answers, give him a call. He's really worth talking to. More
