I rated Harrisonburg Honda as high as possible because of overall quality in customer service, employee knowledge, and the fact that this dealer has the best level of professionalism that I have seen in comp overall quality in customer service, employee knowledge, and the fact that this dealer has the best level of professionalism that I have seen in comparison to other car dealerships I have dealt with. This is the third Honda Civic I have purchased through Harrisonburg Honda and my sales associate yesterday, January 17, 2014, Derek Pyburn, was very helpful, patient, personable/friendly, efficient, polished, informed, perceptive, and witty. Derek was able to capture my attention during the periods of down time during the deal process. Mr. Pyburn answered every question I had to the fullest extent and made sure that my needs were taken care of. On a scale of 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest rating, I would rate Derek as a 10 overall. What a great asset to your company, he is!! I also worked/spoke with a few other employees at this dealership. Sales Manager, Eric Blosser - was real and honest with me and I really appreciate that. He had my best interest in mind and I respect him because of it. Sales Manager, EC Shifflett - has a wonderful personality and a great flow. He definitely knows business. Business Manager, Matt Bentel - has worked with me before in 2008 during the purchase of my second Honda Civic. He is great at what he does because of his expertise and experience in his position. General Manager, Bryan Horne - has worked with me before in 2008 as well. He is very professional and understands the needs of the customer. Although I didn't work with any of the service department employees yesterday, I would like to mention that in the past, Larry, Doug, and Misty always made sure that everything my car needed was taken care of. Another one of the reasons that I wanted to come back to Harrisonburg Honda with my business. I want to thank Harrisonburg Honda for their loyalty to me as a customer and again, level of professionalism. This is, by far, the best dealership I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I bought my 2010 Honda Civic from Tyree and Eric. The customer service I recieved was above and beyond my expectations. Very friendly and professional staff! From the moment we drove onto the lot, and even before, when we were waiting for the 2013 Honda Accord to be released, the sales staff were incredibly friendly, in NO WAY pushy... and a delight to do busin when we were waiting for the 2013 Honda Accord to be released, the sales staff were incredibly friendly, in NO WAY pushy... and a delight to do business with!!~ :O))) They went WELL out of their way to make the deal for us that we went there seeking, if in fact, that we "fell in love" with the 2013, which of course, we DID!! I have to say, that although we had a few more months left on our lease with the 2010 Honda Accord that we had, the Sales Manager? Eric, made it hard to leave the dealership with any other intention, but buying/leasing the 2013! He was genuinely interested in helping us arrive exactly where we wanted to be, as far as our monthly payment was concerned, plus we actually "inherited" a bonus on the car, which sweetened the deal even further. THANKS, ERIC! Yev, the Finance Manager, even though it was a brief encounter, was a delight to work with, and made the "finance" part of the transaction, easy to understand, he was clear and concise, with the information that he supplied us with, and was efficient with our time. GREAT JOB, YEV! Moreover, if I had all day, I still could NOT speak more HIGHLY of TYLER RICH, our salesperson!! He was, and is an incredible young man/sales-PROFESSIONAL!! FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGABLE, PERSONABLE, GENUINE, HELPFUL, and above all... just a "FUN" guy. Those are the exact qualities that I seek in any person, but it helps tremendously, when those qualities are SO VERY EVIDENT, and EXIBITED in a "sales" type profession/person! WAY-TO-GO, TYLER!! You seemed to have "mastered" all GREAT qualities~ :O) You're going to be a GREAT DAD (CONGRATULATIONS)!~ :O) I have to also share a very SPECIAL THANK YOU and APPRECIATION to Salesman Antonio Rodriquez! He went out of his way to introduce himself to me, while I was waiting in the cafeteria area weeks ago, waiting for my 2010 Accord to be inspected/serviced. He made conversation easy and enjoyable, when he learned of my interest in the 2013's. He followed up with me, as promised, and had it not been for a previous introduction with Tyler, Antonio would have been our "go-to" salesperson! HAT"S OFF TO HARRISONBURG HONDA! You're glowing reputation in this area should be not only be for providing a high quality product, but more importantly, it is your STAFF, that completely sets you apart! As a mature babyboomer, I have made my share of automobile purchases. It is rare that I would give a positive review to a dealership since their aim is to seperate me from as much of my money as p automobile purchases. It is rare that I would give a positive review to a dealership since their aim is to seperate me from as much of my money as posssible. However, this dealership used that very opinion to make this purchase both painless and exiting. I was shown 5 vechiles (3 new and 2 certified used) that met my basic requirments; then I was asked to clarify me opinion on all and choose 2 to further consider. There was no rush, no heavy sales push, no "today only" approach; just honest efforts to make certian that whatever my decision, I would be comfortable with it. As to the final step- paperwork_ that's when most dealerships fail to keep the process pleasant; not so here; they took the time not only to explain the paperwork but to allow me to examine it at my own pace. While I finished this they were detailing my choice one final time so that when I exited the lot I had a warm fuzzy feeling regarding our transaction. By the way, I am a college professor who teaches courses in selling and marketing. The Honda dealership serves me well as class examples of how the process can be positive and rewarding. More
