All communication (until paperwork/delivery) was via telephone calls with General Manager Eric Serjeant; he was very responsive, quickly answering/returning calls, and proactively kept us informed with status updates for our vehicle, which was on order. We live in Southern California and this was our first out-of-state purchase. The entire process was easy and efficient, thanks to Eric Serjeant, Tony Case in finance, and Patty Maxwell in the title work department. We took delivery of our new Land Cruiser Heritage at a price (including delivery) that we never could have gotten in our area and with an entirely smooth and positive transaction. I have been coming to Ed Martin Toyota for service for almost 2 years now. I wasn't expecting to trade my Sienna at this time, but I did for a 4-Runner Limited. After receiving an offer from another dealer for my 2014 4-Runner Limited during a routine recall service I really wasn't in the market for a new car. However, based on the offer I received I let the other 4-Runner Limited during a routine recall service I really wasn't in the market for a new car. However, based on the offer I received I let the other dealer know what kind of 2021 4-Runner I was interested in if I was to buy/lease a new car but through a referral I called Ed Martin Toyota to get a second opinion. I was put in contact with the GM and he immediately took my call and took notes on what I was looking for. Within an hour he had the vehicle matching my requirements as well as had a monthly lease price and a matching trade-in offer compared to the other dealer. To keep things fair I called the initial dealer and though I asked for the assigned sales person they were unable to take my call and didn't return my call until the next business day. Due to the immediate service and attention Ed Martin provided I did not give the other dealer the opportunity to earn my business. Once the vehicle came in the GM assigned me to a salesperson named Pete who made the trade-in and lease execution process seamless. Prior to our appointment, Pete took all of the necessary application and insurance information the day before to have all of the paperwork ready to go the next day. Since the process was so easy and customer friendly would definitely refer Ed Martin Toyota to anyone in the market for a new/used Toyota. More
