Thank goodness it was covered under my warranty, as it involved taking the engine out of the vehicle! Nonetheless, it took 3 business days to fix what I had come in for AND the newfound problem. From November 2025 through March 2026, our team worked diligently to diagnose and address the issues with your vehicle. Initial diagnostics identified a head gasket oil leak that caused damage to two sensors, which were later replaced by an outside facility without addressing the underlying leak. When your vehicle returned, our team repaired the oil leak and replaced a sensor, with Subaru contributing $3,000 toward the repair cost. Additionally, when the aftermarket sensor failed, we replaced it at no charge as a courtesy and provided a loaner vehicle at no cost during the repairs.
Our goal has always been to resolve the issue fully, and we took multiple steps to assist, going above and beyond standard service. We appreciate your patience throughout this process and hope this helps clarify the efforts made on your behalf.
