I actually started out working at Campbell Ford in the detail department, worked here for 6 years while going back and forth to IUSB. Graduated from IUSB with a Bachelor's degree in Finance. I left as manager of the detail department at Campbell's for a job at a manufacturing company in Elkhart as a financial analyst. Ended up working there for a couple years before getting laid off. I am a 61-year-old professional man, In all my years of buying a new car this was absolutely the worst experience ever! On a side note, I came to Campbell Ford because of the extremely positive experience buying a new car this was absolutely the worst experience ever! On a side note, I came to Campbell Ford because of the extremely positive experience I had buying my Taurus Limited back in 2011. I truly felt that Campbell Ford was a "family business", with "family values" wow was I wrong! After waiting for almost six months, I purchased the Ford Explorer Platinum because I am a man of my word, something I feel that Campbell Ford is definitely lacking. I understand that circumstances happen, so many things are out of our control. But I just can't understand the lack of common communication., that starts and stops with Campbell Ford's leadership, or in my case, lack of Leadership. I even suggested that since the name of the business is a family name, it would be nice to discuss my situation with Mr. Campbell, but I was told "Only if he was in at the time of my visit, would that even be possible. Well, there you go, if the " owner or family" is not concerned with a customer's experience, then that certainly explains the lack of accountability with the Leadership in this organization. I did on my own, call the Ford Motor Company in Detroit and was given the "real" reason my car was delayed. I was fortunate to have the VIN number and they (Ford) did the leg work to inform me of the very long delay. They even apologized for the delay, something to this day was not offered by Campbell Ford Leadership. The one positive, the saving grace of this awful situation was my new assigned salesperson, Erik Blad, who went out of his way to keep the communication doors open and made me feel that my business was truly wanted and appreciated. Erik treated me like a valued customer, and for that, I am forever thankful. Erik was not my original salesperson. Erik was assigned to my purchase after I called to complain about the lack of communication from Campbell Ford. There is a slight glimmer of hope for your business because you have Erik on your team. I hope this review will be taken seriously and hopefully what I experienced at this dealership will never happen to anyone in the future. Just so you know I am not a person who complains, I have never given a poor review to anyone or business in my life. Campbell Ford let me down in so many ways, but I am only one person, my business will not make or break your company. But I do believe that if you don't get better, down the road it will affect your bottom line. Yours is a business of people, that happens to sell cars, please don't lose the "Customer Focus" facet of your business. Thank you for listening. More

There is no question that Erik Blad has the "It" factor, and it made all the difference to my car buying experience.
