Hello Mr. or Mrs. Burke, Thank you for your recent visit to North Penn Volkswagen. Your Atlas was brought to us with concern of vibration both while driving and highway speed and while braking. We recommended to rebalance the tires as a starting point for the constantly highway speed vibration. We found rust spots on the brake rotors causing uneven braking surface and advised if you still feel vibration then this would be our next suggestion of repair. We provided transparency that the brakes had plenty of life remaining on both the brake pads and rotors but to resolve this, the rotors should be replaced. You requested for us to submit a claim through the vehicle service plan you purchased and the claim was denied because the brakes were not worn low enough. Regarding the previous visit, we did receive your authorization to perform an alignment. We did not have any extended warranty information on file for your Atlas otherwise we would have filed a claim on your behalf. We not have this information and can use this policy moving forward.
