He made me feel very comfortable and he was very knowledgeable about the vehicle packages. He had an awesome Jeep Cherokee Sport waiting for me to test drive upon my arrival. The seats are extra comfortable, it handles well, also comes with touch screen display for your radio, compass, blue tooth capabilities...and more. We purchased our Jeep Cherokee on what seemed like the busiest day of the month and Bennett did not skip a beat. He wasn't able to give us his undivided attention so he enlisted the help of Ernest to ensure that our purchase was as smooth as possible. He still checked back with us and completed our test drive during all the chaos. Ernest stayed with us until the very end and even had us the the car back on the next business day so that it could be washed and detailed. After being extremely frustrated with several days of hours upon hours spent at different places, I contacted Hayes Dodge Chrysler Jeep about one of their vehicles that I was interested in. I asked the salesman, Ernest Clarke, if we could please begin to discuss numbers over the phone due to multiple dead ends that I had reached at other dealerships just recently. He said sure, I gave him what I knew I could afford and where I wished to be in terms of payments. He said he would get back with what he came up with. I received a call back that day explaining the deal he had worked up. After just a few minutes of negotiating, we had reached a tentative deal. I went to the dealership the next day. Ernest knew my time was valuable and we wasted no time test driving the vehicle and starting the finance process. Ernest was very thorough and explored and explained all of my options to where I could understand them and make an informed decision. I met with Magdalena Barbiaz to discuss finances and finalize the deal. She is nothing short of amazing. They both were such a pleasure to work with and I felt they kept my best interest in mind which I really appreciate. My experience as a whole was wonderful, with each person that was involved. Don't hesitate to buy here Hayes had the vehicle we wanted. As we drove onto the lot, we were disturbed to find a hoard of sales people just waiting to attack. We were immediately turned off, but they had the car we wanted. The sales guy who approached us, Ernest Clarke, quickly got through our 'resistance curtain' and showed us the car. The next step was the appraisal of our vehicle and the first offer from the dealer. Frankly it was the same distasteful time that causes us to detest all car dealers. Ernest understood the battle between his manager and we as buyers. Eventually the manager came face-to-face to try and close the deal at his price. We resisted and were ready to walk. All of us have been there. Finally the manager went away and sent back his last offer - the one we wanted. Deal done. Ernest was a gentleman through this time, and then turned us over to the shining star in their dealership - Magdelana Babiarz, one of their finance managers. She is one of the most qualified, focused, and supportive persons a car buyer can meet. She promptly focused on our deal, getting it documented and closed. She took a few moments to learn about us and our personal needs, and through that ended up offering and convincing us to sign up for a long term maintenance and extended warranty. We did business with Hayes years ago, so we had a prior level of trust. The sales guys in the parking lot were terrible, and Hayes should find another way to get in front of customers who visit and want to look at and buy cars. We understand their desire to get as high a price as they can, Hayes should find the way to strip the distasteful back and forth out of their process. There are many successful dealers - Carmax for one - who don't do that. But at the end of the day, the shining stars of Earnest the sales guy, and the stunning performance of Magdelana set them apart. I'd go back - and look for Ernest and Magdelana! I hope Hayes takes care of them, and finds a better way to do business than the exploitive sales managers in the corner of the showroom. More
