We were immediately turned off, but they had the car we wanted. The sales guy who approached us, Ernest Clarke, quickly got through our 'resistance curtain' and showed us the car. The next step was the appraisal of our vehicle and the first offer from the dealer. Frankly it was the same distasteful time that causes us to detest all car dealers. Ernest understood the battle between his manager and we as buyers. Eventually the manager came face-to-face to try and close the deal at his price. We resisted and were ready to walk. All of us have been there. Finally the manager went away and sent back his last offer - the one we wanted. Deal done. Ernest was a gentleman through this time, and then turned us over to the shining star in their dealership - Magdelana Babiarz, one of their finance managers. She is one of the most qualified, focused, and supportive persons a car buyer can meet. She promptly focused on our deal, getting it documented and closed. She took a few moments to learn about us and our personal needs, and through that ended up offering and convincing us to sign up for a long term maintenance and extended warranty. We did business with Hayes years ago, so we had a prior level of trust. The sales guys in the parking lot were terrible, and Hayes should find another way to get in front of customers who visit and want to look at and buy cars. We understand their desire to get as high a price as they can, Hayes should find the way to strip the distasteful back and forth out of their process. There are many successful dealers - Carmax for one - who don't do that. But at the end of the day, the shining stars of Earnest the sales guy, and the stunning performance of Magdelana set them apart. I'd go back - and look for Ernest and Magdelana! I hope Hayes takes care of them, and finds a better way to do business than the exploitive sales managers in the corner of the showroom. More

Earnest was knowledgeable and prompt to answer my questions. He even delivered my car to me in Dawsonville to save me a trip back to get it. It was in the shop for a sunroof repair. Only negative was the detail job was less than I hoped for, lots of grease on the headliner and outside of the car due to the repair I think. Also my seat belt will not retract (safety issue for sure). So, I would suggest more attention to details on the shop side of the dealership. More

I hate car salesmen! But wait, there's hope. I hate car salesmen! Typically they make my skin crawl. However, Ernest was true to his name, he's Earnest. He didn't give me the song and dance and did everything in his power to work with us. We are not the easiest customers as we have specific tastes and are not flexible in our opinions. Time after time, Hayes has gotten us into a car that we are very satisfied with and where we actually walk away happy with our purchase and never have we had buyers remorse. They seem to make the impossible possible and go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. Specifically, the Sales Manager, Magdalena Babiarz, makes miracles happen. We have bought three cars from her and four from Hayes. If in the future we have the need to purchase again, Hayes, Magdalena and Ernest is our first stop. I guess I better rethink the whole, "I hate car salesmen" opinion. More

Ernest Clarke assisted me with finding the specific vehicle that I wanted, and he was friendly and open and honest about each vehicle that he showed me, as well as how important it was to him that he match my price point. Jim Sells was quick and efficient with prepping the paperwork, and Joe Lary was excellent with finalizing all of the financial details. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience. More

He tried to meet all if my needs and understood exactly what I wanted. Ernest was very upfront with the pricie of the vehicle and I feel that I paid the right price. When that vehicle was not on the lot he got it from another dealership. Bonnie in financing was extremely pleasant to work with also. Harrison delivered my car today and I couldn't be more pleased. He also took the time to go over all of the features. I really liked how these two worked together to get me what I wanted at the right price. As someone who is in sales, I value customer service and salesmanship. These two gentlemen exhibited both and I highly recommend using the Internet services at Hayes. More
