I purchased a 2021 Chevy pickup on Oct. 21, 2025, Shortly after purchase, the pickup engine light came on, I called the services department and was told to take it to any chevy dealership. 21, 2025, Shortly after purchase, the pickup engine light came on, I called the services department and was told to take it to any chevy dealership. I then took it to Bastrop Covert. They discovered that there was a fuel tank issue, a broken motor mount and missing bolts and brackets on tranny and also tranny fluid linking due to being overfilled. After 21 days I received my truck back stating it was fixed. Within days of picking it up, I drove to Kansas for a family visit and drove to the airport to go on vacation. When we returned home we noticed tranny fluid leaking heavily onto the ground. This was Sunday Jan. 25, 2026. The next day Monday Jan. 26, 2026 we took it to the local chevy dealership in Kansas to have it inspected before I drove it back to Texas. They reported the truck needs I new tranny and advised not to drive it back to Texas. I had to have family take me back home to Texas and now have the expense of a plane ticket to get back to Kansas to pick up my truck. The truck has been out of services over 9 weeks since purchasing on October 21st. While the extended warranty has covered some repairs, the repeated failures and prolonged downtime so soon after purchases have been extremely disappointing. I was told the vehicle was being sold "as-is" yet the number of mechanical failures discovered shortly after purchased raises concern about pre-sale inspection quality. More

WORST PLACE EVER TO PURCHASE A CAR. WRONG MILEAGE ON CAR AND NOW WONT FIX THE ISSUE EVEN WITH THEIR LAWYER. I CANT REFIANCE MY CAR BECAUSE MILEAGE WAS IN KILOMETERS INSTEAD AND THEY CAN WRONG MILEAGE ON CAR AND NOW WONT FIX THE ISSUE EVEN WITH THEIR LAWYER. I CANT REFIANCE MY CAR BECAUSE MILEAGE WAS IN KILOMETERS INSTEAD AND THEY CANT FIX. THEY TRYING TO FIND THE OLD OWNER TO HAVE HIM SIGN THE FORM TO REQUEST THE RIGHT MILEAGE CHANGE BUT THEY CANT FIND THE GUY SO NOW WHAT????????? NO SOLUTION NO HELP!! DONT BUY FROM COVERT THEY ARE AWEFUL More

Don’t trust a word that comes out of their mouths. I negotiated a price and trade on a vehicle on their lot. I deposited $1K on the vehicle while I got the down payment cashier's and loan check fro I negotiated a price and trade on a vehicle on their lot. I deposited $1K on the vehicle while I got the down payment cashier's and loan check from my bank. This took less than 12 hours. I’m ready to pick up the vehicle, and the manager calls and tells me they sold it. “Oh, another manager didn’t know we had a deposit….” I’m sorry, I don’t believe you. No wonder car dealerships have such a bad reputation. Now, why don’t I believe you? You told me you would get me the same truck and offer the same deal to me, but you haven’t talked to me since that phone call. Nor have you responded to my request to refund my $1,000 deposit. So, I must waste more time reporting this to my credit card company to get my money back. Last, if it was an honest mistake, be attentive, apologize, and be responsive to refund my deposit. You haven’t. You cost me time, a ping to my credit, and the cost of picking up checks and paying for a cashier's check. I got screwed; you got a sale. 100% greed. The only thing I can do is warn others. Worth noting, I didn’t curse out or mistreat anyone at the dealership. I waited three+ working days before posting this to see if they would follow through or reply. They never reached out to me or responded. Respect for my time and trust goes a long way in earning business. This business has neither. It's a clear sign to run, run far away! If they do this to win a sale, imagine how they’ll treat you afterward! More

Very dishonest and unprofessional. We check on the availability of a car and was advised by the sale associate that the car was available. My daughter an I drove almost one hour and I missed a meeting to drive to purchase the car. We said that we wanted to make the purchase and started the paperwork. The associate step away and came back to say that the car was no longer available. There was another couple who showed up after us and I noticed that the vehicle was being driven away by them. The sale associate act surprised and tried to apologize. I asked to speak to one of the manager who stated that someone had put a down payment on the car on Friday. He would never say that was the person who put the down payment on the vehicle. He would only say that he was sorry while smiling. More
