I had to inform Svc that they had to initiate tire

I am disconcerted that the tire guy would not submit the tires for warranty claim, and thinks the alignment needs to be done when back in Oct 2025 it was reviewed before rotating tires and found to be OK. Also since front tires are not wearing badly and pitting like the original front tires, which indicates the tires are faulty.

Hi DJ Cabrera,
1st of all, back in 10/2025 when we raised the issue of the front tires chipping apart, Svc confirmed they are slightly pitting, and that the alignment on the vehicle was okay. They informed me KIA was not an authorized Pirelli dealer, provided me the Pirelli warranty information, and that I would need to file a warranty claim with Pirelli.
I contacted Pirelli who informed me that KIA is an authorized Pirelli Tire Dealer and that they need to initiate the warranty claim.
When I returned to KIA on 02/06/26, I informed Garrett that he needs to inform all staff of this so that no one else has to go back and forth with a tire warranty claim.
Then Garrett informs me that the remote individual responsible for assessing tire warranty claims, upon review of photos sent to them did not think that the issue is a workmanship issue and that the first step is to do an alignment warranty to see if it resolves the issue.
I ask Garrett if he provided the Tire person the facts that back in 10/2024 before the tires were rotated at 1,987 miles that the alignment was found to be ok and since then the front tires are not wearing the same as the original front tires after almost 6,000 miles on them; uneven and pitting. Garrett confirmed he did not share this info and did do so upon my request.
The Tire person still did not think it is a workmanship issue and because Pirelli may not determine the tires are faulty, they may not reimburse KIA for the tires. So if I want to proceed with the tire warranty claim, I would need to pay for the replacement tires to proceed and if the tire warranty is approved KIA will reimburse me for the tires purchased. I agreed to do so, but do not appreciate to have to be out the tires cost at this time given the facts that the front tires are not wearing badly, as the original front tires.
So all of this to say I am quite dissatisfied with the Tire person's assessment and having to pay for the replacement tires to file the tire warranty claim.

Sorry for the 10/2024 incorrect date, it was 10/2025.
Also, Garrett had instructed me, per the Tire person, that I would need to purchase the replacement tires and file a goodwill warranty claim with Pirelli myself. I called Pirelli again and they informed me that they do not deal with the consumer and any warranty claim needs to be submitted by KIA.
So I had to inform Garrett of this. Again, going back and forth.
I do not appreciate the Tire Person misinforming Garrett and me on the process for filing a tire warranty claim with Pirelli.
Kia Frisco is the best dealer I have seen and provide the
best services ever.

After about 30 minutes, I received a message saying the car was ready for pickup. When I asked what services were completed, I was told only the oil change was done. When I questioned the tire rotation, general check-up, and other complaints, the staff’s response was arrogant and dismissive.
I was told that the person I spoke to earlier had gone to lunch, was unavailable, and that it would take more than an hour for him to return — followed by, “Here is your bill.”
This is extremely unprofessional and a complete waste of time. Poor communication, poor service, and zero accountability. Never visiting this service center again.
