I have owned nearly a dozen BMW's. The first two new BMW's from BMW of Tenafly and have used BMW Tenafly exclusively for Service. Went to Tenafly BMW to have a headlight bulb replaced that burned out. They wanted over $350.00 to change the $27.00 bulb. They said they had to take the front bumper off to get to the bulb. I told them that burned out. They wanted over $350.00 to change the $27.00 bulb. They said they had to take the front bumper off to get to the bulb. I told them, which they knew that there’s a access panel in the wheel well to get to the bulb. The adviser said that the only way they change the bulbs to takeoff the bumper and it’s $350 plus the cost of the bulb. I went down the block to the gas station they did it for $50. With out taking off the bumper! I can’t believe they get away with overcharging their customers. I will never, never go there for service or to purchase again! More
