George was amazing and he has a wealth of knowledge. I appreciated the fact that he and the finance department took the time to educate me about financing a car. I had a bad sales experience with them on 12/11/23.
I walked in to Nissan with my own lender and told the sales guy I would pay $2000 of my own money, which they did not ask for at the end of the sale,
I walked in to Nissan with my own lender and told the sales guy I would pay $2000 of my own money, which they did not ask for at the end of the sale, causing me to assume it was a 0 down payment at that time had already covered some bills from the $2000. After almost 2 weeks of having the vehicle, the financial officer called to say the $2000 is needed or my registration will be cancelled. I told him I had already spent the money covering bills and didn’t have it anymore while offering to return the vehicle for another vehicle worth $23000 paid by my lender. He furthered yelled at me stating “I am a single father of 2 and if you don’t pay this money, I will have to. We cannot accept the vehicle back. You promised to bring back the $2000.” We made no agreement. While, it was my responsibility to check the bill of sale before leaving, I had spent Almost 7 hours in Nissan and Mr. Saunders the financial officer folder all signed paperwork and placed it an envelope and gave it to me. I opened that envelope when I received his call. I will not recommend Nissan McDonough sales department. They are negligent and don’t want to accept accountability but more casting blame.
