I still have doubts about the corporate manufacturing of Honda; they evidently do not provide the dealership with a variety so that the customers can have a choice. However, when I made George Webb, the salesman, and Chris Anderson, the manager, aware of my concerns, they worked hard to get the model of my choice. It took a week to get it to the dealership, but I now have the Honda Civic that I wanted. Thank you to all who made this happen and I am sorry that the Honda Corporation does not seem to be concerned enough to make these models available for customer choice in the first place. More

I asked to about purchasing a Civic LX by two people that they only get what is sent and that is one every few months. They had many Civic Sports but only one new Civic LX. I purchased my current Honda Civic they only get what is sent and that is one every few months. They had many Civic Sports but only one new Civic LX. I purchased my current Honda Civic Sport a few months after the Southaven dealership opened. I was told that they were still getting their inventory and only had Civic Sport so I bought one. This week I wanted to trade it for a Civic LX due to things I don't need or like on the sport. The one Civic LX they just got was not the color I wanted. Apparently Honda feels they should be able to tell me which car I should buy. According to the dealership, they only get one Civic LX sent to them every three months or so. They told me that it does not matter what I would like to buy, Honda Corporation won't send them one and I would just have to take what is sent. I have driven a Honda since 1991, all of them purchased new. I would like to trade in my Honda Sport that has 5000 miles on it for an LX but I am not allowed to choose the one I want to spend money on; Honda tells me I must buy another Sport model which I can choose from their inventory or settle for whatever LX model they happen to get. Seems to me a very poor way to do business. They offered me no other alternative, apparently, they have no need to satisfy customers and will only stock the more expensive model with an inventory variety. I do not want another Sport model, but Honda seemingly does not want me to have an LX model because it is not quite as pricey as the other. I am well past 75 years old, I don't need a sport model. George went over and beyond to make buying my dad a Ridgeline the best experience! George was so friendly and helpful.
