I drove 25 minutes to Ide and do NOT regret it for a minute. Gerry was extremely professional and took the time to quote me a price over the phone. Even better than that, he spent a great deal of time with me to make sure I understood how all the "bells and whistles" work in my CRV. Understand that I am a 66-year-old technically challenged woman. He told me to call him any time if I needed help. Be careful what you ask for! My husband will be in to see Gerry in 2 years to buy a new car. We will be customers for life! More

Three years ago my wife and I had a remarkably positive leasing experience at Ide Honda in Rochester, NY. Being the grumpy old guy that I am, I figured it was a fluke. At lease end for both cars, we returned them to the dealership. Our salesperson was no longer there. So quite frankly, I prepped for the usual high pressure, sleaze routine more normative to my experience. I was dead wrong. And here's why: this dealership means what it advertises, a fair and honest experience. It trains sales people to rise above being jackals with each other and customers. Even when someone comes in with a chip or two on their shoulder, there's no recrimination. Our salesman, (Gerry) was outstanding. Within 3 days we leased two new Hondas. From the sales floor to the finance office, it was a courteous, competent, clear talking, no pressure experience. No fluke at Ide Honda far as I'm concerned. Gerry Lamb at Dick Ide was enthusiastic but not pushy, and was patient and great at explaining minor details here and there with the paperwork that I was seeing for the first time. All of the financial stuff went fine and Adam Weil was capable of answering my questions without hesitation. A very satisfying experience, will be sure to check them out in the future (though I'm sure my Civic will hold up for a long time!) If you go to Dick Ide, ask for Gerry and Adam and give them my name (Carl Huber)! More
