Mr. Gascoyne, When you first alerted us to the issues your vehicle was experiencing we advised you to take your vehicle, still under manufacturer’s warranty, to the Honda dealer near your location in Kissimmee to have the vehicle inspected and repaired. You told us that the first dealer you went to would not diagnose the problem without a diagnostic fee, which you were unwilling to pay. We advised you to go to a second Honda dealer, and apparently the response was the same. You later returned to the Honda dealer near your home after time had lapsed and they finally diagnosed the problem without incurring the diagnostic fee. Unfortunately, at this point the manufacturer’s original warranty had expired. We believe that we did everything to help you that we could. Sincerely, Darren Hutchinson, General Manager

Everything you just responded with is incorrect. The first dealer I took it to told me that if they didn’t find any issues after removing my engine and transmission or if they found an issue that wasn’t under warranty that I would be liable for labor charges. I wasn’t going to pay them over a thousand dollars just to tell me something wasn’t wrong or under warranty. I’ve been willing to drive to your dealership or the Honda dealership near you in Clearwater since the beginning to get this resolved. The second dealership I took it to told me that they could hear the noise but it was the slave cylinder making the high pitched chirping noise. I replaced that part with OEM and did a transmission fluid change and the noise was still 100% present. The dealership misdiagnosed the problem from the beginning. This is not my fault. I’ve been in touch with Gillian Barnes since the absolute beginning. Probably spoke 30 times since I purchased the vehicle. She’s assured me every time that the issue would be resolved and every time I have been let down. I’ve followed every instruction she’s given me and have yet to accomplish anything. And now you’re saying that your dealership has done it’s job and it’s on me? That’s hilarious. Also, I have an extended warranty that came with my car that Gillian assured me would cover the issue if a Honda was unwilling. And of course my extended warranty doesn’t help me either. Glad to know neither Honda nor your dealership will stand behind its product. I will never go back to your dealership or recommend them to anyone. Thanks.
