Took over a month to schedule, poor communication throughout day and was not ready when originally planned for. Had a courtesy car with tank at 15/16 full. Drove 8 miles to and from my home during th throughout day and was not ready when originally planned for. Had a courtesy car with tank at 15/16 full. Drove 8 miles to and from my home during the service but was then hit with a $7.48 charge the next day for “not returning with a full tank.” Despite the fact that the tank was not full to start and I used less than a gallon of gas (car gets 22-25 miles per gallon). Very disappointed and reached out to the service manager the next day with my concern and have still not received any follow up after 6 days. Will not utilize their service again. More

This review is for the management. I recently had my car spark plugs replaced and flushed the coolant and break fluid. Before leaving, I popped up the hood and surprisingly foun I recently had my car spark plugs replaced and flushed the coolant and break fluid. Before leaving, I popped up the hood and surprisingly found a hammer tucked between the battery and the engine air intake system. Brought the hammer inside, gave it to the service manager and told him about the hammer I found in my engine compartment. He took the hammer, and immediately started looking at the paperwork of my car and the name of the technician instead of apologizing to me about the negligence of his technician. He never apologized. At least the other person sitting behind the counter apologized to me. The service manager should be the one apologizing and be courteous to his customer and not one of the employees. I'm not sure what’s going on with the managers of Hamilton VW including the sales manager. They don’t know how to greet their customers or maybe it's just me (us). Last Nov 2022, we bought an ID4 and spent a good time before signing the sales. Surprisingly, we never noticed the the sales manager greeting us when we were at the show room while he passed us multiple times to get a smoke outside. Three times to be exact. At least, he entertained me by watching him going back and forth every time he’s going out to smoke. I have no complaints about the salesman, Rick and Ginny from the service dept. They are great and wonderful people. They always say hi, hello with a smile and will chat a little bit. More

I really don't know what to say except that I enjoy taking my car to Hamilton imports for service. It's a little pricy but the free coffee/snacks, nice environment and helpful/knowledgeable staff are a taking my car to Hamilton imports for service. Brought the car into service for a fix on the ignition. Was told part would take 1-2 weeks to come in. Ended up being 3 weeks. They will give you their phone number and tell you they will most likely answe Was told part would take 1-2 weeks to come in. Ended up being 3 weeks. They will give you their phone number and tell you they will most likely answer the phone, then never answer when you call to ask about your car. Asked for a loner car since it took longer than expected and was told curtesy cars are for special customers who “brought cars in for service but the dealership messed up”, so would’ve thought I’d be in that category considering they messed up the estimated time of the service. Once I finally got the car back the steering wheel was put back on crooked and they tried to say I need to bring it back in and pay for a whole new job to get it fixed, as they tried to tell me it was like that before it came in for service. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a dealership and was quite surprised. More
