After searching many dealerships we ended up purchasing our 2014 Mazda 6 from Mazda of Elk Grove. Jaik, Garrett and Grant were Great. We had a wonderful experience and the process was simple and quick. We had a 2000 Cadillac that was paid for but was getting tired. We are retired, on a budget and expressed that to the sales staff. We had been to 6 other dealerships shopping and as we arrived at Mazda of Elk Grove, we were greeted by Jaik Willmon. Never having owned a Mazda before, we had many questions. These were all answered very efficiently by Jaik. Being relatively new at the dealership, Jaik looked to Garrett Oxnaes for guidance regarding some of the process. Garrett was informative and eager to provide direction/assistance. Meeting our shopping list of Options on the vehicle and staying within our budget was no easy task as we discovered at the other dealerships we had visited. I am happy to say that this past weekend we bought our first vehicle from Mazda of Elk Grove. We believe our purchase was for a quality vehicle at a great price. Neither Jaik nor Garrett were ever pushy, always mindful of our budget, and our vehicle needs. Grant Salge was equally helpful, patient and thorough in his explanations as we finalized the purchase. We are so pleased with our experience with the staff at Mazda of Elk Grove. Hiring Caring, Knowledgeable Staff appears to be a top priority at Mazda of Elk Grove. Our Thanks to all the staff. More

My fiance had a great experience with Mazda of Elk Grove, so I was looking forward to purchasing my new car there! After a few initial hiccups (emails went unanswered because the individiual i test-drove my so I was looking forward to purchasing my new car there! After a few initial hiccups (emails went unanswered because the individiual i test-drove my car with had ceased working there and an overzealous sales associate who went beyond leaving voicemails and began texting me to win over my business - which I found pretty inappropriate), my fiance reached out to Garrett, who had sold him his car and it was a wonderful experience from there. Garrett is great to work with, very knowledgable about the vehicles, but it never feels like you're working with a salesman - he treated the experience like he was helping a friend, not a customer, which I really appreciated. This was my first time purchasing a car and I'd heard horror stories of sitting around a dealership waiting around, but Garrett made sure the process moved along quickly. Grant was also wonderful to work with. Again, horror stories of the mountains of paperwork and pressure, but Grant explained things clearly and never tried to bias any decisions. I also appreciated that he really went out of his way to beat the financing my bank had given me. All in all, it was a fantastic experience and I would HIGHLY recommend Garrett, Grant, and the rest of Mazda of Elk Grove to anyone interested in great cars and a great dealership. More

I went with a friend who was looking to buy a used car. She really liked the Mazda 3 and had a good experience test driving with Pasao Yang. I went back with her to look at actually buying the car and had a good, spirited back and forth negotiating the price of the car. At one point, Yang asked if he could bring his manager over to discuss prices. Omar Bubaker came over and tried to argue that they're a business and couldn't lower the sale price anymore. He became rude, condescending and tried to guilt trip us, so my friend and I got up to leave. Yang was able to continue working with us professionally to sell a car and he came down in price, so we were able to come to an agreement. His coworker Omar almost cost him a sell. Omar's approach of insulting customers and claiming poverty for the dealership is not the best business model. He is not a good representative of the dealership. Though haggling can get a little awkward, Yang continued to work with us, and we were all laughing by the end of the transaction. I would recommend Yang highly to anyone who visits Mazda of Elk Grove. The financial guy, Grant Salge was also awesome helping us figure out warranties and made signing the final paperwork painless. Thank you to Yang and Grant. More

I really enjoyed working with Pasao Yang, he was extremely knowledgable about the car and did everything he could to make sure I walked about way and confident about the trade. He is the reason I would recommend this dealer to a friend, however, I did have a very bad experience with Omar Bubaker. Omar was rude from the moment he sat down to talk with me. He was talked down to me and at one point I even walked out of the dealership as a result of his poor treatment. Yang, however walked me out and explained that we would continue to do whatever he could to make a deal. I did walk out with a car that I am very happy with and I will go back to get my next one there as well, but I'll just avoid working with Omar. More

I am a single mom of 3 (Kids are ages 5,3, and 2) who works 12-14 hours a day so time is not something that is on my side. With me taking on a new role with my company I needed a vehicle that was going t works 12-14 hours a day so time is not something that is on my side. With me taking on a new role with my company I needed a vehicle that was going to be fuel efficient and kid friendly as I would be traveling once a week going forward. My wonderful family was researching and helping me find the right solution, and I got a call saying they had found some options. My dad happens to live in the bay area and is a GM for a rather large dealership and I have always made my purchases thru him, however after the experience and level of service in which not just I but my family recieved we really wanted to give our business to Mazda of Elk Grove. Being a manager in a sales based environment I recognize good customer service and and Mazda... it wasn't just "Good" it was Extraordinary". I went to this dealership solely based on reviews from dealerrater and I was not disappointed. I came here expecting the sales people would be pushy. Sherlock Tang, my salesperson, was very knowledgeable and was not pushy at all. Also partly because he's a new-hired. The service was very friendly and QUICK, which made the whole process very easy for me. Grant Salge was the finance manager who also made this shopping experience great. Everything was explained in simple terms and easy to understand. No tricks or hidden fees like I have experienced from other dealership in the past. The whole deal was done in less than 3 hours from start to finish. I'll be back for sure when I change my car in 10 years. More

I was recently in the market for a new or pre-owned Mazda3. Using my bank's car buying service led me to Elk Grove Mazda, where I met with Sales Manager Tony Triggs who put me in touch with Sales Asso Mazda3. Using my bank's car buying service led me to Elk Grove Mazda, where I met with Sales Manager Tony Triggs who put me in touch with Sales Associate Daniel Radcliffe. Both Tony and Daniel were extremely helpful. I told Daniel what I was looking for and what I wanted, and he showed me what fit my needs. He never tried to pressure or upsell me to anything beyond what I asked for, and he was honest about pricing and incentives between new and pre-owned cars. Ultimately, I determined it was more affordable to buy a new car. I had specific requirements regarding trim, color, and options; though they did not have what I wanted on their lot, Daniel never tried pressuring me into something I didn't want. Instead, we test drove similar cars, and he helped locate the car I wanted with another dealer, which they had delivered to Elk Grove the next day. I was very appreciative of his professionalism and willingness to help me get the car I wanted. Before I had gone to Elk Grove, I already set up financing with a great interest rate, so I hadn't planned on financing through the dealer. The only way it would make sense to finance through them would be if they beat my established interest rate and met my loan terms. Daniel and Tony worked out financing that was on my terms and beat an already great interest rate. Finishing the final paperwork with Grant was fast, easy, and no pressure. All told, this was the best car buying experience I have ever had. The facility was clean, and Tony, Daniel, and Grant were all very helpful, friendly, and professional. I really couldn't ask for more from a dealer team unless they gave me the car for free. If I'm stil living in the area in 5 or 6 years, I will probably return to Elk Grove Mazda for my next Mazda 3. More
