Car Buying Experience Not So Great I purchased a 2009 Subaru from the dealership. Upon leaving with it the car started shaking, engine light came on, and had to bring the car back to the dealership. (1hour from signing of papers to this happening) the dealership was great in the sense they said they fixed the problem. But not even a week after picking it up the problem started again. They charge a pretty astronomical service fee on all their cars so one would assume if you are paying this that the car would be inspected pretty darn well. Im beginning to think thats not the case and they just like to charge their customers this crazy fee. Needless to say two weeks after purchasing the car, with one week of it being at the dealership for repair, the problem still exists and i have a car that will barely run. What a great feeling. Side note: only 5 months after purchasing the vehicle the transmission was shot from the shaking they said they couldn't feel but was there the whole time! More

Sometimes even pushed onto a different vehicle. Heather from Russ Darrow Toyota had the exact opposite approach. Heather came over by me within 5 minutes of entering the premise and gently started asking what I was looking for. By the 10th minute I was out on a test drive. As I was pulling back up to the dealership she was already waiting for me at the door, ready to answer ANY kind of question. We sat down and she told me everything I would need to know as a first time car owner, making it a breeze! Thank you Heather! More
