Charles was ext dealership. Ross worked very hard to get me the deal I wanted. Henry spent time showing me how to connect my phone to Google map!! Charles was extra helpful in setting up all the features on my brand new Mazda. He showed me how to use remote start which I didn't know I had! I will be leasing all my cars from New Rochell Mazda. Henry was great to work with. I came in after a negative experience at another dealer and he made sure to make sure my experience at New Rochelle Mazda was a great one. I went in I came in after a negative experience at another dealer and he made sure to make sure my experience at New Rochelle Mazda was a great one. I went in with the expectation of having to wait for a car, but he made sure I viewed the inventory just in case I saw something better. I walked out the same day with a car that I LOVE! More

Brought a pre-owned car couple days ago and are few things that you should know about this dealer. BUYER BEWARE - it can save you thousands: 1. Dealer fee is $1875 + $175 Dealer doc fee = $2,050 whi things that you should know about this dealer. BUYER BEWARE - it can save you thousands: 1. Dealer fee is $1875 + $175 Dealer doc fee = $2,050 which you won't know about it until you are talking to finance. Internet, phone and sales person will claim that there isn't any dealer fee, market adjustment and so on. I even asked Alex (general sales manager) if there was any fee and he replied that I would only pay for car + DMV fees + registrations and so on. If you decide the confront the finance manager, he will act confused and doesn't know what you are talking about, according to him there was always a dealer fee with a smile on his face. 2. You got good credit? financed the car before? Here is 5.40% APR on 72 loan from Mazda which is outrageous high. Bank of America offered 2.5% on preapproved letter but they rejected (see bullet below). They only ran credit once and when I complained that the APR being too high they decided to quote with WELLS FARGO which is known to have ridiculous high rate. When I asked why don't you try Capital One? Citizen Banks? Ally? Key Bank? He said that they don't work with those banks and that would also hurt my credit. By the way, another xxxxxxxx since according to Experian (which is credit agent they use) you can run multiple hard inquiry in 14 day period and will only count as one hard inquiry. Why do they do that? Simple! They make even more money from you since they get commission over loan term or at least make some money since they financed though Mazda. 3. They won't accept pre-approved letters from banks or credit unions. Had better APR from Bank of America and finance rejected which again, goes against what the sales person, internet and phone agents said. The sales person even has "accepted bank list" on his desk. When I confronted finance saying "I asked your sales person and the sales person even has a list of accepted banks in his desk and Bank of America is one of them" they claimed that the list is outdated and they won't work with other banks. According to their website, they won't accept 3rd credit unions but nothing related to major banks. 4. They are dead set giving you 72 months loan. You want to give higher down payment to lower your monthly cost? "Sure but that will increase your APR and we want a check from your bank and you will have to wait for check for clear" xxx - clearly they don't want to pay credit / debit card fees and trying to make the process hard just so you don't do it. Accepting that 5.40% APR over 72 months - will cost $3k more at the end of loan term. 5. Waiting times are high - after you have insured the car, be ready to spend another 2-4 hours waiting for finance manager to call you over. When they do, they want to you move quickly and sign bunch of paper. TAKE YOUR TIME, READ EVERYTHING OVER and so on. 6. It seems like they offer money for good reviews so keep a look out. With that being said, yet another dealership that lacks transparency and straight forward talk. Sales will promise the world and finance will try to get a quick on you. Did I buy a car? yes I did because I needed one ASAP but would I recommend Mazda of New Rochelle? No. That urgency did cost me thousands of dollars. Will most likely refinance the car very very soon.
