I'm hesitant to leave this review because it's not directed to the dealership but to the Service Dept. It has left me speechless, disappointed and lastly, feeling like a number versus a long time cust directed to the dealership but to the Service Dept. It has left me speechless, disappointed and lastly, feeling like a number versus a long time customer. I went online to book a service appt for my 2022 Toyota Camry, which was my 5th car i have purchased form Gloucester Toyota. So I see a open slot for 9am on March 15, 2022, exactly what I was hoping for, easy in, easy out, so I thought. The service I needed was to have my TPMS sensors scanned/relearned, since I bought a new set of factory wheels that came with tires and factory TPMS sensors. I arrived at 8:40am, walked over to the counter, the service lady asked if she could help me, I said indeed I have a 9am appt to have my tpms sensors reset( tpms light is lit). She advised me my appt was actually at 1pm, I politely said no ma'am I scheduled it for 9am, she again advised me it was at 1pm, we went back and forth for a few minutes, to the point I advised her that I just drove a little over an hour to get here. She apologized with little emotions or sympathy and said I could wait, she could possibly fit me in about 10:30am, and the service would take an hour AND cost me $75.00. At this point I'm just over this lady and her mood, so I again tell her I've traveled over an hour to come here, have bought 5 cars from you guys, just got this car 2mos ago, and the best you can do is make me wait, and charge me $75.00 for something I feel should be a courtesy perk, that takes 3 mins to do, and the best you can do is tell me to come back at 1pm because you don't know why the online system allowed me to schedule a 9am appt time when it was already taken. First of all that's not my fault or problem, second of all what happened to Customer Service, lastly wasting my time trying to challenge me on how long it takes, and complaining about her own online system, the time she wasted with me she could have had a tech come scan my sensors!! Needless to say I stayed, because I was not driving back home and coming back again. So I handed her my key, as I turned to walk to the lobby she says I'll do my best to have you out of here by 12ish. I looked at her and said I have to wait 3.5hrs to do a 3min job, her response was IF I can get you in any sooner I will, like after what her and I just went through you want me to believe that, really!! Here's where this gets even better, I went to the lobby, called the local Discount Tire, which I have done business with in the past, I explained myself, the guys says to me COME ON IN SIR, THAT WILL ONLY TAKE 2-3MINS AND WE DON'T CHARGE TO DO THAT....I politely replied I'm on my way. Sooooo, I go back to the service desk and advise the mean lady that I need my keys , never asking me why or what, or even trying to help. She tells the guy to pull my car back around, the guy brings my car and the first thing he says is I'm so sorry you had to go through all that, it's ridiculous and that he overheard the entire convo, he told me he felt bad. I said people like that should really work from home. I left, arrived at Discount Tire, greeted promptly, the guy says Mr. Robinson no need to wait, I'll have my tech come right out to you, he came out within 1min, scanned my tires, and within 2mins advised me the light was off and to have wonderful day. I will continue to do business with Gloucester Toyota, but I will not, ever , ever, ever ever deal with this lady again. It's called Customer Service for a reason, something that I knew only took mins she wanted me to believe it took an hour, just to justify charging $75.00 for something Discount Tire did for free. I'm not sure of her name, but its none of the people pictured below.... More
