We arrived prior to opening on Sunday, March 16th. He answered any and all questions we had. In my 45 years of buying cars and dealing with sales people, I have never had one as knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, patient(we occupied his entire Sunday) and courteous. We bought a 2014 Crosstrek, and in the end we were totally satisfied. James worked with us on price and options as well as test driving several different vehicles. I would highly recommended not only this dealership, but if you want a great car buying experience, look for James Menzies. More

I had seen the Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid at the Philadelphia Flower Show and learned of Subaru's VIP Program with Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS) members. I was interested in test driving Philadelphia Flower Show and learned of Subaru's VIP Program with Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS) members. I was interested in test driving an Outback and the Crosstrek Hybrid. I had a coupon for $25 from Target for doing a test drive. James greeted me kindly when I arrived at the dealership and offered to assist me with the test drives. He provided me with the information I requested concerning the car I wanted to purchase and gave me good information as to the pricing. Although he was not familiar with the VIP Program, he was very accommodating once he learned of it. Once I received the car, James made sure I understood the digital technology - setting the clock, presetting my favorite radio stations, helping me select a voice for the navigation. In addition, he went beyond expectations and surprised me with a few additional items - all weather car mats and a license plate holder. I would highly recommend James and Sports Subaru - as well as the VIP Program with the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. More

Since I first started to look for a vehicle to trade up to, James was very attentive, positive, caring, patient, and there to provide me with the best customer service I had ever experienced. My financial situation was a hard one to deal with since I had so much negative equity on my trade, but James and his team worked for 2 days and we're finally able to get me in a super nice Audi. Would definitely do business with again. More

Though I wasn't sure of what I wanted, they were patient with me, and worked with me, being certain that I was completely satisfied with the end result. I have never had such a wonderful group of people to help me through what has always in the past been such a stressful ordeal. Even the other employees in the showroom were pleasent and always eager to assist me with any questions I may have had. I actually spent a good amount of time at the dealership, and I'm certain I caused them some stress, yet they remained patient and smiling at all times. James Menzies gave me a follow up call from the online Subaru inquiry I'd done. My husband & I were actually going out the door to visit a few dealerships, (which were closer to our home),when the phone Subaru inquiry I'd done. He was so nice & cordial that we decided to drive a little further & visit Sport Subaru & James first. No need to go anywhere else. His professionalism, knowledge, & personal touch was great. He met our needs & budget without the "pushy, salesman attitude" we've encountered elsewhere. EVERYONE we met were great! Most definitely will refer, recommed, & return!! Upon walking on the lot, James welcomed us with a warm smile and never pushed us towards anything. He was very accommodating throughout the purchase offering us water and snacks. Our experience with James was very good. I personally drive my vehicles as long as I can before I endure the painful cat and mouse game played by most car dealers. Though I probably paid more than I should have I was pleased to deal with James. He made the purchase less traumatizing than I had anticipated. Though we questioned the availability and cost of an installed hitch receiver I was astounded by the price until I visited another dealer in Asheville, NC this week. The Parts manager and the service manager together explained that when a Subaru original manufacturer's hitch receiver, 1 1/4" 3000 lb., is installed the existing bumper plastic cover is removed and the new hitch receiver replaces the existing metal bumper, adds the electrical wiring harness to the already installed harness and notches the plastic bumper cover where the receiver protrudes and installs the finishing grommet around the receiver. This makes the price of the hitch receiver more realistic however there was no mention of he trade-in value of the existing bumper. The installation of the manufacturer's hitch receiver also continues the bumper to bumper warranty which after marked hitch receivers violate. More

I needed to purchase a new vehicle for my mother down at The Villages, FL and as I live in St. Louis, MO this did pose some difficulties. I had taken my mother to dealerships here in St. Louis on a recent The Villages, FL and as I live in St. Louis, MO this did pose some difficulties. I had taken my mother to dealerships here in St. Louis on a recent visit and we looked at all the different manufacturers in the compact SUV category. After much review we decided on the Subaru Forester Touring w/eyesight. First my mother tried to deal with the local dealership near the Villages. After much frustration I took over and negotiated online with James. Once we reached a satisfactory price I explained the whole situation to James and he could not have been more accommodating or helpful. I arranged for payment to be sent to the dealership, arranged for insurance online and forwarded proof, and James then proceeded to handle all other matters for delivery to my mother. Taxes, title, new tags and he then drove the vehicle personally to my mother and proceeded to spend several hours going over the vehicle with her, getting all paperwork signed etc. and answering all her questions. Given that I personally could not be there to handle this for my mother, having James there was the next best thing! I would highly recommend James to anyone and especially to the elderly, his patient and understanding nature make him an excellent salesman. Thank you so much for taking the time to help my mother!
