I went in looking to lease one of the Kia Optima or Forte which were on special $189, however after taxes, fees etc. were added my credit score did not permit the lease with out a sizable down payment which which were on special $189, however after taxes, fees etc. were added my credit score did not permit the lease with out a sizable down payment which I could not do. James Montalvo and James Hammond suggested a low mileage used car still under warranty. I looked at a 2011 Kia Forte, however, I have always been skeptical of used cars and I wanted my son to look at it and see what he thought, so they told me to drive it home and let him check it out. He was concerned about my safety in the smaller car as I have always driven mid sized and heavier cars. I took it back the next day and they had a 2012 Chevy Creuz with less miles so they allowed me to bring in home overnight for my son to see, he was much happier with the size and build of the Chevy. I noticed a place on the driver side rocker panel where the paint is peeling badly when I took it back I pointed that out to them and they said it was not a problem they would sand it and repaint it at no charge. I purchased the car that day and am scheduled to take it back for the paint repair next week.. The customer service at Kia was great. Everyone was very helpful and did everything they could to get the monthly as low as possible since I am retired and my only income is Social Security. I know it will be tight but with the help of God I will make it. More
