I am a resident of Breaux Bridge, LA and have been a part of the Hampton Toyota team since 2003. I began my career in sales building a large customer portfolio working my way into becoming the Business Manager where I provide customers with an extra peace of mind. I am happily married to Ronnie Cormier and we have a loving family of 4 children; Brittlyn, Harleigh, Joeb, and our furry family friend Zoey. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the camp and spending time with family and friends. I look forward to giving you a fun, fast, friendly, and fair car buying experience!

Hello and good morning! Used cars are just that...used. They are not going to be the same as new car. And to fix them to make them good as new... for some cars that is simply not possible or practical. The condition of a used car, how it was treated and maintained by the previous owners, what happened to it before they traded it in to us, or who reports what mileage, repairs, etc. to CarFax, that are not in our shop, are not any thing we can control, or have knowledge of. Perhaps they had 5 kids, perhaps they hauled tools, perhaps they did all the maintenance themselves, perhaps they tried cleaning it with corrosive bleach; perhaps they parked it in the sun for 6 years; we just can't know or control any of that. All we can do as a dealer is accept the car in the condition it is in, do our best to clean it and repair it so everything is in good working order, and then price it accordingly based on age, condition, mileage, and expense of repairing it. Again, sometimes the expense of repairing it, like for instance changing out all the seats, trim, dashboard, etc, would make the car so expensive that it becomes impractical. However, if that's what you would like us to do, then please let us know; we'll be happy to completely refurbish the interior for you. Of course it will had several thousand dollars to the price, but we don't mind doing it if you don't mind paying for it, just let us know. Otherwise, out best suggestion would be to show you other vehicles that better fit your need and expectation, and of course will be priced accordingly. We're happy to help. With regards to the windshield trim, we'll call the windshield repair service and have them re-do it. It's a simple fix; we're sure they just overlooked it just like someone might not put the twist-tie back on the loaf of bread every time and 100% of time. Of course we're happy to get that taken care of. Thank you for shopping with Hampton.

Cameron, to be clear...the truck that you signed a contract on was a 2wd, not a 4wd. However, the truck that you drove home was a 4wd. For more details, we are reposting the response on the Better Business Bureau's page here: Hampton Toyota acknowledges that Mr. ******* ********* signed paperwork on 3/1/21. The mentioned paperwork included legal descriptions, the VIN number and stock number for a 2wd 2021 Toyota Tacoma. Alternatively, the 4wd Tacoma that Mr. ********* drove home was never contracted. As it turned out ... the contracted truck was never delivered and the delivered truck was never contracted. Together, we ended up in different situations than we each desired. Considering that there was an oversight by both parties, we offered to remedy the situation by making a concession to help achieve Mr. *********'s goals. We offered to provide a discount on the other vehicle, as well as extending the terms of the financing to get closer to Mr. *********'s desired monthly payment. In an attempt to help Mr. *********, we provided an act of donation to him, which is needed to obtain legal ownership from his parents and necessary to allow him to trade in their vehicle on his purchase. He was responsible to obtain legal signatures authorizing the donation. Upon the realization that Mr. ********* was not contracted on the truck he drove home ... he was immediately contacted. It was then learned that he was working offshore until March 18th and would have limited ability to communicate. At that time, Mr. *********'s parents initiated communications with us. On several occasions we came to an agreement about how to remedy the situation. Much to our dismay, the agreements with the mentioned parents, appear to have been disregarded when our private conversations were posted publicly on Facebook with scenarios not previously agreed to by Hampton Toyota. Mr. *********'s mother has even mentioned she intends to seek legal counsel about this matter, which we are willing to open communications with her counsel. We have been in business for 20 years and have maintained the highest of customer service ratings, based upon how we have treated our customers. We believe that our reputation coupled with the facts of this transaction will serve the Hampton Toyota community well. In the spirit of good business, we will return Mr. *********'s trade-in, we will return his $10,000 deposit, will also reimburse him for the $520 first payment he made to Chase Bank, as well as provide an additional $480 of goodwill for any inconvenience he may have incurred throughout this process. Hampton Toyota will both retrieve and reassemble the parts removed from our 4wd Tacoma by Mr. *********, at our costs.
