They were loaded with work and sent us on to Oakley where we met with yet another rejection. At their suggestion we continued toward Hays with the sound continuing but not worsening. We called ahead but received no assurance that they could see us. As we approached Hays the sound was less noticeable so we decided not even to try. All seemed unchanged until we passed the exit for Abilene when suddenly the check engine light came on and the oil pressure gauge begin to fall. We turned around and crept back to their exit having no idea who might be able to service us. It was after 5:00 pm so we first found a motel. When asked, the desk clerk immediately picked up the phone and called his friend, Chuck, at Holms who said that they were closing for the day but gave us a spot at 8:00 am. When we arrived we realized that it was a full Chevy dealership which was a relief. Jaime greeted, took our history, and, seeing that we were on the road with a dog, guided us to the lounge with our pooch, and kept us apprised of their findings. He also took my wife, who by now had lost confidence in our 2008 Suburban, to Eric Aldwegg, a salesman. Long story short, a few hours later, though our car was fixed, we were driving out in a 2011 Suburban waving goodbye to Jaime, Eric, Corey,the business manager, and Tim Holms, the owner, all of whom had made an otherwise gruesome misadventure a pleasant experience. They Did It Again! I took my car (the one I recently purchased from this same company) for its first oil change. I also believed I had a mouse that had gotten into the I took my car (the one I recently purchased from this same company) for its first oil change. I also believed I had a mouse that had gotten into the fan of the air conditioner because of the funny noise it was making. Sure enough, there was a dead mouse who had built a nest inside the barrel of the motor area. They cleaned everything out and changed my oil for me. To my surprise they did the oil change for free and because I had just bought the car they did the service (cleaning out the nest) for me for free. I was so delighted at how generous they were with me. I felt very cared for and respected. My only confusion was wondering why we would go to the trouble of making an appointment for service when so many people seemed to come in at random and got in first, even though they didn't make an appointment. This was a little disappointing when you've made an appointment and had driven for a while to get there. This small issue was quickly forgotten because of how fairly and kindly they treated me. Everyone was so nice and I was very comfortable during my wait for the service to be completed. I am continually thankful for this business. I know I will always be treated well and with respect. I trust them to do the best they can for their community members. I would recommend Holm Automotive Center to anyone I know in a heart beat. More

personilized service when my wife and I started to do business with holms in 2001 we bought a suburban. everybody was really friendly and made sure we was happy with every when my wife and I started to do business with holms in 2001 we bought a suburban. everybody was really friendly and made sure we was happy with everything.when we had repairs done Jamie was great in letting know what was wrong with it and how much it would cost to fix and the time schedule to fix it. after that experience we have bought 3 more new vehichles since that time. eric has been great to deal with. he tells you the way it is. corey was really nice to talk to and a great listener to our stories and he knew what he was doing. I would highly recommend holms automotive to everyone. I have also had body work done there and had a really good experience with the staff. More
