I'm not sure I could imagine a less satisfying transaction with a dealership and unfortunately the nightmare is still persisting. The negotiation and general sales process went fine. However, the issues started after agreement and before taking delivery of the vehicle. Initially, I was told the vehicle would be delivered the next day. The next day came, and the salesperson informed me there was an open recall so they would need to resolve that before I can take delivery. They offered to bring me a loaner which was great and helpful until the recall was resolved. A few days passed and I heard nothing from the dealership so I called myself and was told the recall part should be in the next day and as soon as it is installed, they will bring the truck to me in the afternoon. Great. The next day came, which I took off work to take delivery of the vehicle, and I was informed they could not deliver it as they did not have a driver available. The salesperson told me he would deliver it himself, but he was sick and not at the dealership (note this for later). After I expressed my displeasure with him not having a driver procured knowing the recall would be complete, he told me he would text the sales manager to try to find another driver and would call me back at 1:30 pm. 1:30 pm came and I did not receive a call so I tried to call the sales manager on his direct line, no response no call back. I then tried to connect with the GM which was also no response and also no call back after I left a message for him through voicemail and with the front desk attendant. I the called the salesperson who was sick who told me he would check with the sales manager when he got out of his meeting at the dealership...how could he do that if he was sick at home and unable to deliver my vehicle to me? Clearly, he was not sick enough to not be at the dealership trying to sell more cars. After 2 more hours I called again and was informed that they had found a driver, but he would not be able to come until the next day because it was nearing the end of the day so I would then need to take off yet another day of work for them to deliver me the vehicle. I finally took delivery of the vehicle, but this process was anything but acceptable. Forward to today, I receive a call from the tag agency, and they inform me that the title does not have my wife's name on it which I require for a tribal tag to save thousands of dollars in registration fees after I repeatedly told the finance and sales employee that her name must be on the information. Now that they have made such an egregious error, the only way to remedy this would be to REFINANCE the vehicle with another lender to get my wife's name added. As mentioned, this error on the dealerships part, has already costs me thousands of dollars and will cost me several hundred additionally each year that I register the vehicle. As of today, I still have NO paperwork for my deal agreement or my warranty information which I require for the maintenance warranty I purchased with the truck. Did I get a good price on the truck? Yes. Is that price worth the lack of communication across the board resulting in a stressful experience? Absolutely not. This is also including the fact that the good price is entirely irrelevant at this point due to the error on the title and registration paperwork. For any vehicle purchase, especially a $70k+ vehicle purchase, I would encourage anyone to look at other dealerships. I have owned and driven Chevrolet my entire life, but this has me thinking twice about the next vehicles I buy and the overall experience aside from low pricing. More
