Well honesty is what’s most important so in the end the dealer made it right. BUT I should not have caught their F&I guy is a smoke screen. Sales, Justin and Blake ere amazing. Javier in F&I was a diff story. 1st Shame on me for not realizing something was a miss when he said his young child was home crying so he had to get out of there quickly, being a parent myself I presumed it was a reasonable statement - NOPE. 1st - my credit is over 830 and he told me the best rate was 3.85% - BULLSH!T - Toyota was 1.90% ok so I paid off the note within 7 days - I was able to do so,,what if I wasn’t? That would amount to double the interest all which goes to Dealer Commission. Then he put this nonsense Asset Protection for almost $700 which as soon as I realized I requested it be cancelled. The Double and Triple Talk from him was insane! I explained his choice, lawsuit, Social Medial or Refund his choice - I got my refund. It should NEVER have come to this. So my bottom line is - If and it is a BIG BIG IF I ever go to Empire Toyota again for a purchase, I will Happily deal with Justin or Blake - If I have to sit with Javier, the deal will die instantly and I will go to anyplace else. More
