I did not like the SmartPath credit process. The App is designed primarily for Leasing a vehicle, not purchasing. I spend 5 hours on 7/24/2025 trying to fill out the application online, only t The App is designed primarily for Leasing a vehicle, not purchasing. I spend 5 hours on 7/24/2025 trying to fill out the application online, only to be kicked off (incompleted) because I would/could not fill out leasing questions. When I called the Salesman, Jeff Bennett on 7/25/25, he told me not to worry about it. We would take care of it on 7/26/2025. Then I found out he didn't use the SmartPath application but a Sierra Toyota local application.. When I finally completed the application and gave him the application number, the credit manager didn't use it but had Jeff use the local application, It's a good thing I brought all of my gross pay numbers with me (those wages were in the Toyota SmartPath application but they didn't transfer the numbers. Basically the local version had the same fields but since they didn't use that SmartPath application, I had to have the numbers available. More
