BUYER BEWARE — ESPECIALLY IF YOU DEAL WITH JEFF GARCIA, THE FINANCE MANAGER. I am absolutely furious about my experience with Jeff Garcia. I have never dealt with someone in a finance position who made THE FINANCE MANAGER. I am absolutely furious about my experience with Jeff Garcia. I have never dealt with someone in a finance position who made me feel so uncomfortable and disrespected while simply trying to understand what I was being charged for. I discovered almost $2,300 in add-ons had been put onto my loan that I was not aware of or did not knowingly agree to. When I questioned him about it, instead of calmly explaining the charges, he became visibly shaken and tried to kick me out of his office for asking questions about MY OWN MONEY. Seriously? I’m supposed to sit there quietly while thousands of dollars are added to my loan and not ask questions? What really makes me angry is that when I tried to get answers , he avoided me and hid instead of having the professionalism to face me and explain what happened. Jeff Garcia is completely INCOMPETENT and unprofessional in my experience. If you are going to work in finance and handle people’s money, the absolute minimum customers deserve is honesty, transparency, and the ability to explain what they are being charged for. I walked away from this experience feeling ripped off, disrespected, and completely disgusted with the way I was treated. I can’t help but wonder whether the extra commission from those add-ons was more important to him than being upfront and transparent with his customer. My advice: DO NOT TRUST THE FINANCE OFFICE BLINDLY. READ EVERY SINGLE LINE OF YOUR CONTRACT. QUESTION EVERY FEE AND EVERY ADD-ON. CHECK THE FINAL NUMBERS YOURSELF BEFORE YOU SIGN. Because apparently, asking where nearly $2,300 of additional charges came from is enough to make Jeff Garcia uncomfortable. I would never do business with him again. More
