There was no high pressure sales pitch and the deal we got was very fair. all the managers and especially Jake Skarzenski were very clear and helpful in explains the lease versus purchase options. Sold me a pretty lemon Bought a 2013 Mazda CX-5 from Jeff Sousou on 12/26/16. The car was in the shop for repair on 12/27/16, and again on 1/04/17. At this point, the car ha Bought a 2013 Mazda CX-5 from Jeff Sousou on 12/26/16. The car was in the shop for repair on 12/27/16, and again on 1/04/17. At this point, the car has been in Kia's shop for more days than I have had it in my driveway. Jeff was not truthful about a couple of things 1) he said an open recall item was taken care of but it was not. 2) tire pressure light was on when we test drove with Leo and Jeff said it would be taken care of before we left. 4 hours later, we drove off the lot and the light was still on. The next day, while driving on I84 during heavy traffic, the car started bucking, and traction control and check engine lights came on. It was very scary. I called Jeff to ask him to have a loaner ready as I was bringing the car in. When I arrived, I saw Jeff inside. By the time I got inside, he was nowhere to be found. He didn't even respond to being paged. He didn't have the decency to face me. He sold me a pretty lemon and I will NEVER purchase another car from Jeff. Nor will I recommend Danbury Kia to family or friends. Considering that the same issue occurred within 15 days, and I had to bring it back twice, I am not very confident that the issue has fully resolved. However, I do trust Wayne and his techs because they seemed to know what was wrong with it, but were following the advice of colonial Mazda. Wayne and his team made sure I had a rental or loaner and Wayne drove my car until the issue occurred a third time. Then he drove it back to Colonial and they were better able to diagnose and hopefully resolve the issue. This issue has sucked the fun out of the buying experience and instead, I am scared every time I drive this car. My only complaints with service is that they never state their name when answering the phone and they didn't call me with updates. I had to call them requesting an update, which was not convenient. I actually enjoyed buying a car.....Go figure! Whenever you are about to make a big commitment in life....get married,have kids......buy a car, you have to have the perfect partner. Jeff was great! No, I didn't marry him or have kids with him, but He WAS responsible for helping me get the best car I ever had! He was a worthy opponent in the negotiation (I love a challenge), and as a woman buying a car, he respected me enough to not show me all the mirrors there were so I can put on my lipstick. I felt he heard me, and worked to make me happy. I would ABSOLUTELY go back to him, but hopefully not for a while. I love my new 2017 KIA Sportage-so does my daughter Sofia who thankfully can't even attempt to drive it for another 8 years ;). The entire team was great as well....super friendly, and customer focused. I loved chatting with Jake in between my time with Jeff.Working as a manager in sales myself, I would hire all of them. Fabulous experience!! I was pretty unhappy when hubby came home with a new car -- I wanted one!! I came here on my birthday, hoping for same and I've had the most wonderful experience!! I was going to get my new car!!!! I'm leaving behind my sad 2014 (that truly owes me nothing!!) for a beautiful beautiful 2016 Kia Forte!! Thanks to Jeff Sousa, Sal Sinardi, and Justin Hagan in finance. A little intervention from Bill Sabatini was a special blessing! (I've known Bill since buying my first Hyundai (at this dealership) in 2008). I've owned 5 Hyundai's and decided to switch to Kia -- just a preference this time around...And today's my birthday!!! So in a year when I've dealt with cancer, blood clots, and everything that goes with it -- a big hug and thanks to Jeff. If you want to work with Jeff, I encourage you to make an appointment to see him! He is very much in demand as I saw on Saturday!! Between delivering cars he had already sold, appointments he already had, and walk-Ins who heard of his legendary way of not only making sales but getting people approved --he is very, very busy and justifiably so!! I really enjoyed working with this dealership. They are a fun group of people. The showroom is beautifully decorated.
