Overall service dept is good. Unfortunately there was damage to the vehicle which I did not notice until 4 days after picking it up. MB took a video of the vehicle before taking Unfortunately there was damage to the vehicle which I did not notice until 4 days after picking it up. MB took a video of the vehicle before taking it in for service but not after. I unfortunately did not do a walk around upon picking it up. The vehicle went from the dealership directly to storage, and then 4 days later when I got it from storage(large outdoor storage area with no one next to it), I noticed a dent and deep scratches in a large piece of metal trim on the drivers side. This ended up costing about $600 to replace. MB would not reimburse for the damage, because I can’t prove it was damaged during the time they had it in service. While I understand their reasoning, it would have been better if they had done a post-service video and/or walk around before returning it to me. It does not seem like standard of care for the customer to do a full walk around upon picking a vehicle after a small, routine service. More
