Not Honest My son and I purchased a certified pre owned car in March 2018. It was a car they had used as a loaner. When we were looking at it and going through My son and I purchased a certified pre owned car in March 2018. It was a car they had used as a loaner. When we were looking at it and going through the buying process we asked if it has been in any accidents or had any prior damage. The salesman told us there was no prior damage or accidents and then gave us the car fax report. I realize that car fax says is is based on current information and some problems may not have been reported. This dealership owned the car. They knew of the damage did not disclose it to us when asked and did not report the damage to car fax until after we purchased the car. They did not report the damage until April 2018. This is very dishonest. We found this out because we are looking to trade it in. The value they offered was way less than what it should have been and we were told this is the reason why. They showed us the updated car fax that shows the damage reported after we bought it. Totally dishonest and bordering on fraud. More
