Friendly Service with no hassels I heard an advertisement on KHOPE 107.9 by Roberson Ford in Albany Oregon that encouraged us to check out or options. Since we live in Salem we came I heard an advertisement on KHOPE 107.9 by Roberson Ford in Albany Oregon that encouraged us to check out or options. Since we live in Salem we came to Skyline Ford where my husband had purchased pick ups in the past and where I had purchased in the past as well. We were greeted promptly, no pressure and fair trade in. \Jeff White's personality glows with positive, friendly energy who really appeared to believe in the Ford product. More

He worked his tail off to please us, from the test drive to the paperwork, he was top notch. I have had other salesmen before at other dealerships be pushy and down right unpleasant to deal with but Jeff made it very easy to do a deal. We have bought a lot of cars over the years and Jeff is one of the best in town to work with. This guy should get a raise or at least a trip to Hawaii !! Thanks for all your help, Jeff. We will be back to see you. Suzi and Danny Knowles More

Everyone I interfaced with, online and in person, was genuinely respectful and friendly and "nice." 2. They stayed that way even when I became very tough in negotiations. 3. I got a great price and a couple unexpected perks that they didn't have to give me. Jeff White was the salesgentleman I worked with; he was great, negotiations were fast, he and Skyline were honest and up front. Ask for Jeff White and you'll see what I mean. The ultimate questions about a dealership and buying experience are, Would you return there and buy a car? Yes, I would. Would you send a friend or family member to that dealership and salesperson? I absolutely will. More

We also appreciated him being so patient with us, since we had a crying tired baby with us. We also came in at about 7pm on a Saturday night not expecting to buy that night. He was never pushy or seemed like he wanted to rush us just so he could get home. We appreciate him and everyone who helped us that night! Great service all around! More

My girlfriend and I came onto Skyline Fords lot and were met by an energetic salesman named Jeff Wright. He showed us the two vehicles that we were there to compare. The Ford Edge and the Ford Escape. On hi met by an energetic salesman named Jeff Wright. He showed us the two vehicles that we were there to compare. The Ford Edge and the Ford Escape. On his way back from the office while getting the key to show us the inside of the two vehicles, he brought the brochures for each vehicle. We all three sat in the Ford Escape and compared the interior and exterior lengths and widths of the two. We both learned a lot about sizes and options the vehicles come with. It was an informative experience and he made it so comfortable for two girls out shopping to simply compare alike vehicles. When we are ready to purchase, we will absolutely be coming back to see Jeff! Thanks for all your help Jeff! More

I purchased a 2010 Ford Escape at Skyline Ford. Jeff White was very helpful and really listened to what I wanted. He brought an Escape from another lot and stayed late to show me the vehicle. The Escape White was very helpful and really listened to what I wanted. He brought an Escape from another lot and stayed late to show me the vehicle. The Escape Jeff brought over for me was just what I had been looking for. I had my financing through a credit union prearranged, but work with Chris Wagner to finalize the details. Two days later the credit union said they had quoted me a new car loan rate and would need to change my loan rate. Chris went to bat for me and worked directly with the credit union to make sure my finance went through at the original rate. I will go back to Skyline when it's time for another vehicle. More

I had to wait for a car to be delivered. Our sales rep, Jeff White, kept me up to date on the delivery status. On the day of the transaction, he was knowledgeable and informative about the vehicle. Jeff Jeff White, kept me up to date on the delivery status. On the day of the transaction, he was knowledgeable and informative about the vehicle. Jeff is also a pleasant guy. Unfortunately, Skyline follows the "old style" of car sales - burdening the sales transaction with the heavy hand of unseen, unnamed non-present redundant dealership bureaucrats. For example, Kelly Blue Book lists the trade-in value of my old car from $9,500 to $11,600. Skyline offered $8,500. I explained the Kelley information to Jeff. He returned from a meeting with the non-present dealership bureaucrat to say Skyline would offer $8,680. I suggested $9,000 or $500 less than the low number in the Blue Book. Jeff said he had no latitude - the unseen, unnamed and non-present dealership bureaucrat had hard-lined the offer. While Jeff White did a good job as a sales rep, Skyline bungled the sales experience for a "soft" $320. My impression of Skyline went from great to ... meh. Further, the experience revealed even a good sales rep has no effective control of the transaction and the customer is forced to contend with people who are not at the table. Knowing this, why would I ever go back to see Jeff White (even though he did well)? Here's a suggestion Skyline. Fire your unseen unnamed non-present dealership bureaucrats and empower your good sales reps like Jeff White to complete the transaction. Use the money you save by eliminating redundant/obstructive staff to train your Jeff White type assets on the sales floor and trust them to make good business decisions. More

Dealing with Jeff was a very friendly and professional relationship. As I was out of town and asked for a special vehicle (2012 350 DRW King Ranch) that was in stock and the color I wanted. I had a 199 relationship. As I was out of town and asked for a special vehicle (2012 350 DRW King Ranch) that was in stock and the color I wanted. I had a 1999 Dully to trade in. I arranged with Jeff and his sale manager Jay Salas with prices that I felt were very fair. I had to stay the night in Salem as I wanted additional equipment added to my new truck line-X, tool box and 5th wheel hitch transfer from my old truck to the new truck. Jeff was the person who took the lead in this department and I was very impressed the way in accomplished these tasks. Then Jay arranged for me to use a Ford Fusion as a rental for the two days I was there at no charge to me. Needless to say I was highly impressed the way I was treated as I was probably being a pain. I also have to mention the finance person I think he name was Keith who had been a Skyline employee for many years. He got all the paper work completed very quickly and in a proffesional matter. I would recommend this dealership. But I do think Jeff White went far beyond to make me feel good and when I took control of the new truck Jeff explained every detail and questions that I had and there were many. After I got home (Ocean Park, WA) I called Jeff the next day to ask him how a couple of items on the truck worked. I knew he was off duty but he did not mind and took time to explain to me and detail how to operate these items. John Southmayd (360) 665-6319 More

I bought a used minivan from Skyline this week. My salesman, Jeff, was absolutely outstanding!! He went way "above and beyond" to help me arrange this purchase -- for instance, he made two trips back salesman, Jeff, was absolutely outstanding!! He went way "above and beyond" to help me arrange this purchase -- for instance, he made two trips back and forth to my independent mechanics with the van, he negotiated a terrific price package for me, and he even found time to get the damaged side mirror replaced all in the same day..... .....sooo...I was eagerly anticipating writing a 5+++ review pursuant to this purchase when, at the end of a long day, I had a most unpleasant meeting with the finance guy, Chris, to close the deal. Given my credit score of 824, plus the excellent contract arrangments I had previously made with Jeff, I expected this process to go quickly and smoothly. Chris began by presenting me with a number of extended warranty options, all of which I politely and firmly declined, stating I wasn't interested in those sorts of deals ala Dave Ramsey (the radio personality.) Chris eventually moved on, and all was well, until 10 minutes or so later when Chris once AGAIN put some of the warranty options up on his computer screen and started pushing them at me. By this time I was feeling annoyed inside, and wondering why he was disregarding/disrespecting my previous request. I once again stated "no thanks, I'm not interested". Chris then made a very snarky comment: "so is Dave Ramsey going to pay for these bills if you can't?" or something to that effect. I cannot begin to tell you how offensive I found this remark to be!!!! I am the type of person who has paid every bill I have ever had in my life, and at that point I nearly walked out of the office. Instead I just said something like you don't get a great credit score by not having money, and not paying your bills, and left it at that. Anyway, I don't know if this particular person has lost any sales for Skyline yet or not, but I can tell you for sure that he almost lost this one! Other than wishing I had had a different closer, I am most grateful for all of Jeff's help, and I'm very happy with the new van!! More
