I was quite pleased with our buying experience. My background includes high touch customer service, aviation fuel sales, aviation lubricant sales, and working with Fortune 500 corporate aircraft owner background includes high touch customer service, aviation fuel sales, aviation lubricant sales, and working with Fortune 500 corporate aircraft owners and pilots. Jeff was accommodating, asked the right questions, and knew how to push a little and when to give us some space. All in all a very effective marketer. In contrast to Jeff's enthusiastic attitude I was somewhat dismayed to look around and observe other salesman sitting around looking at their phones. I can see why Jeff is successful. During the closing process I purchased the extended warranty as well as the Northwest protection package. After a few days pondering my decision I regret purchasing the Northwest protection package as I simply don't see where the value is for myself or the car. I've owned several new cars with leather interiors and have not purchased any optional protection packages for the exterior and interior. My father in law was a Ford dealer for almost Forty years and I have a full understanding of add on packages and the reasoning for the dealership to offer and promote them. I am scheduled to have the package applied on July 2 but will call to discuss my desire to cancel it. More

I stopped by to test drive a 2012 Fiesta. The salesman I stopped by to test drive a 2012 Fiesta. The salesman were busy at the time with other customers but they had people there to ask me what I needed and to set up a test drive for me. I was impressed the others would step up to help that quick. They also made a effort to get the color of car I wanted. They didn't have one at their dealership so they had someone bring one in the next day in the color I had requested. I found the salesman very friendly and personable. The business manager was very knowledgeable about the financing and willing to explain it in terms that I could understand. It felt like he had all the time in the world to seal the deal with me. The only part I didn't like was talking payments and numbers with the salesman. There was some confusion between lease payments and financing ones. Despite the confusion in our conversation I am happy overall with the financing. I was set up with a credit union in my home town, with the payments in a range that I wanted and with a decent interest rate. I also went back to the dealer for additional items, coating treatment package and a trunk mat. Everyone was very friendly and seemed like they made an effort to take care of me as a customer. The parts guy didn't have the mat in stock but he had it shipped overnight so I could have it the next day. I also was given a brand new rental car to drive home as part of the coating treatment package. The lady in charge of that was very friendly and made sure I knew all the details. I found the people at the service counter in the garage very helpful also. They were very prompt to ask about helping me as I drove in and I had calls from two people the next day to tell me my car was ready to pick up. I'd have to say even though I'm not from Salem I wouldn't have any qualms about recommending this dealership to my friends or family. This is the first Ford car I've owned so this was a huge change for me. More

This dealership answers questions quickly and so you can understand the answers. I went in looking for a car that was in my budget. I walked out with a new 2012 Ford Focus that I get many compliments on. The car is Great I get close to 40 M.P.G. I would highly recommend this dealers walked out with a new 2012 Ford Focus that I get many compliments on. The car is Great I get close to 40 M.P.G. I would highly recommend this dealership. Chris was very helpful in explaining the differnt places i could go to get the best interest rate.Jeff made sure I understood all of the differnt buttons in the car and what they do. I would recommend the dealership and all wonderful people that work there. More

I saw the truck online and was very interested. I emailed the dealership and was contacted by Jeff White. I thought he did a good job of describing the truck and working with us. A price was decided according to Jeff's description. My wife and I bought plane tickets and made arrangements to come pick up the truck and pay for it after inspecting it ourselves. We flew out and made it to the dealership. Jeff came out to meat us and was a very nice guy. We test drove the truck, and discovered the truck's front tires were shot, the incorrect size, and did not match the back tires. The back tires where also the incorrect size. The truck also had paint repairs done that were very obvious and not "cleanly" done. Looked like a cheap fix to sell the truck quickly. I talked with Jeff and said that we would still take the truck for the same price if the dealership would install all new matching tires. It took the management staff over an hour to make any decision about new tires and they came back with a poor offer (not even worth one tire replacement). We did not feel the offer was reasonable and it took the management staff another 45 minuets to come back with a counter offer. We finally took it because we where sick of being at the dealership (4 hours at this point). By the time we signed papers and left we had been at the dealership for 5 hours. We where happy with Jeff (salesman) and Mark (the finance guy), but extremely disappointed in the treatment of management staff. We felt as though our time, communication, and knowledge of vehicles were undervalued. We were treated as a number and not a customer by the management. Sincerely, Brian Oordt More
