MELTON IS A Dishonest dealership. I agreed their asking price and they confirmed no dealer fees or charges other than dealer doc of $489. Before we agreed I clearly said I was paying I agreed their asking price and they confirmed no dealer fees or charges other than dealer doc of $489. Before we agreed I clearly said I was paying cash and no financing. They took a $1,000 deposit and I’d pay the balance the next week. Total was $35,500. Plus docs. The same afternoon I paid (non refundable) for an independant inspector to go to the dealer to check out the car I’d agreed to buy. Late after they told me I had to pay an additional $2,0000 despite us already agreed a deal. The agreed price was $35,500. Now they would not sell it to me unless I paid $37,500 ! This actually was post contractual as we already had an offer, an acceptance and consideration(my $1000 deposit. They refused to honor the agreement t which breaches many laws in the sale of goods. We had a CONTRACT , I told them they must honor the agreement for $35,500. THEY REFUSED. I’m not paying the $37,500 and trying to get them honor our deal. If not I’ll Sue them for breach of contract. Lots of text evidence to prove our original agreement. DIRTY TRICK DEALERSHIP. DO NOT TRUST THEM EVEN WHEN YOU THINK YOU HAVE A DEAL. Untrustworthy More
