I had a recall dealing with the rear suspension on my 2019 Crosstrek having to do with either broken or missing bolts. I only became aware of this issue because I work for SIA. My car only has 11,000 mil 2019 Crosstrek having to do with either broken or missing bolts. I only became aware of this issue because I work for SIA. My car only has 11,000 miles on it and the bolts were torque checked and not replaced??? I wonder about the safety of this vehicle once I hand it off to my 16 year old in two years. I don't think the torque check was sufficient due to the fact that SIA engineers are checking our bolts for fractures. Wouldn't the smart thing to do be to replace the bolts?? I've built Subarus for 25 years and currently quality check all suspension related parts. More
