Jerome Rucker initially came to Armory to pitch a promotional service to us, but ended up inadvertently pitching himself instead. Rucker was hired on the spot after impressing a former manager with his ability to sell. "He said, if you can sell me that, you can definitely sell cars," Rucker recalled. Years later and the Albany native hasn't looked back, spending almost half of his decade-long career in the car industry with us. He believes it's Armory's expansive inventory, incredible service department, and the professional demeanor of our employees that sets us apart. Though he has a lot to be proud of professionally, Rucker says his greatest accomplishment was getting five kids through college, and one through the Marines. He's also a big sports fan, opting to spend his free time volunteering as a basketball coach, fishing, or just enjoying the outdoors.

I would recommend Jerome Rucker to be your salesman. He is by the far, out of all the businessmen I've met, the most honest, charming, kind, and is more than willing to work with me for my specific needs a is by the far, out of all the businessmen I've met, the most honest, charming, kind, and is more than willing to work with me for my specific needs as a single mother of a young toddler. I needed a safe, family-friendly vehicle and he found me the perfect one that my daughter and I love. Everyday, she beg to ride in the jeep. I have never met anyone who understood what I needed and looked for in a vehicle as well as Jerome. One of many aspects I admire about his skills as a businessman, is that when an issue arise, he is quick to contact me or my co-payer about the issue to have it resolve. Because of that, I am able to enjoy the jeep without any worry in the world! Thank you, Jerome, it was great meeting you! More
