This is to share our well documented experience with CDJR of Tampabay regarding a 2026 Jeep Cherokee purchased by my wife in May 2026. My wife was very excited to become a Jeep owner. Not anymore. S of Tampabay regarding a 2026 Jeep Cherokee purchased by my wife in May 2026. My wife was very excited to become a Jeep owner. Not anymore. Since the purchase, the vehicle has required service on four separate occasions, totaling 20 days in the service department. Despite these visits, the persistent engine noise issue remains unresolved. The vehicle was brought in for a fifth visit, but her concerns were dismissed by the service management team. It continues to produce irregular engine noice upon remote starting. The engine has been disassembled twice—once at approximately 960 miles and again at +/- 3,000 miles. Not a good sign. Despite this, the engine continues to produce noticeable noise, which we have documented on multiple videos. This issue has been raised during each service visit, but we do not feel it has been adequately addressed. During this process, we have worked with dealership staff including Adam Clarke in Sales and James Coyle in Service. While both were initially involved, we have since had difficulty reaching Mr. Clarke after he stated that his involvement ended with the sale. We have also found multiple reports online from other Jeep Cherokee owners describing similar engine related concerns. I think this is the last time I am buying any Chrysler. I got really xxxxed over with the recall and got such a xxxx trade in value. I left simple instructions to hold the check and title at the dealership and its been several months my wife or I have not got any communications that we can come pick it up. The cars I had were pretty good and we liked them but getting any service because its hybrid was so complex to get any work done and it always took a long time. It is time for us to move to another company. More
