He gave us great trade in value for our old vehicle so we were able to drive away in our dream car with no hassle! In fact, since purchasing a 2011 CTS4 from ELCO with Jim McCormick and Sveta Gwin's assistance I have talked with friends/neighbors, comparing my wife and and my experience with ELCO to previous experiences with the local Cadillac dealership. Many people seemed to already know or suspect what we just learned: The service department at J. S. Cadillac is top notch but don't buy a vehicle from them, go across the river to ELCO. My fiancé and I were searching for our first car together. While browsing the lot on my own while my fiancé was out of town for work I found a 2008 Tahoe for a great price and in excellent conditio together. While browsing the lot on my own while my fiancé was out of town for work I found a 2008 Tahoe for a great price and in excellent condition. I stumbled on the car by accident. I was eager to show it to my soon-to-be spouse the car, but we wouldn’t be able to come to the following week. Jim let me take the car home so that we would have enough time to try it out and think about it together. We were very comfortable through this whole experience. Jim also helped us through the in and outs of buying and then trading in our current vehicle which was leased. They gave us a good price on the trade which was very important to us. Hands down some of the best customer service I have received buying a car. I started out going to the service department at Elco and always had honest and dependable w be about Jim McCormack and Elco! What an amazing team!! I started out going to the service department at Elco and always had honest and dependable work done which you can not say about all car repairs these days! Always an excellent expierience but on the last visit I had with my car of 207,000 miles on it we found it would cost quite a bit to fix some major repairs so we thought about taking the step to purchase another vehicle. I was nervous about going into the 'car buying' scenario with past expieriences and long ordeals that I was not looking forward to it but Wow was I wrong! All I needed was a great dealership with a dynamite sales person namely Jim McCormack. Jim answered all of my MANY questions and concerns with ease and immediately he made me feel at ease and like this could actually be a great experience and he for sure did not disappoint me in any way. The entire process from talking about the car and then financing just could not have gone smoother or faster. I bought a 2006 convertible Le-mas blue corvette from Jim McCormack at Elco Chevy and was so happy with him that I vowed to myself that I will only buy from Jim from now on. He is the most honest and bend o McCormack at Elco Chevy and was so happy with him that I vowed to myself that I will only buy from Jim from now on. He is the most honest and bend over backwards to help you person I've met outside of my own business. That is "why" I give Elco a 5 out of 5 in every way and would recommend him and Elco to anyone car shopping. I've gotten burned bad in the past so I started restoring my own corvettes so that I knew what I had in my driveway, but after restoring 5 older ones I wanted a newer one and saw low mileage 2006 0n their web site and contacted Jim who I had never met. I told him I was gun shy about spending over 30k on a vette because my last experience which ended up in court and 2 years before it was settled. For the last ten years I bought junkers and fully restored them myself but now wanted a new one with no issues which is what Jim sold me. I told Jim I couldnt go threw that kind of ordeal again had he assured me I wouldnt. The car runs and drives like new and Jim was so good in every way with dealing with me knowing I had lost trust in dealers. My point is that he alone regained my trust in dealerships which is harded to do than simply sell vehicles. He is the benchmark to which others should be rated by. Jim and Elco is why I took the time to peck this message out. I would do anything for Jim McCormick and can say to anyone that wants heart felt honesty to take the time to go to Elco to buy your car.
