Jim listens and answers questions and doesn’t fill the air with small talk and chatter, which I appreciate when I’m trying to make a decision about what I’m gonna drive for the next 10 years. If you’ve never owned a Subaru (like me) he will tell you exactly what makes a Subaru a Subaru. Ive bought other new and used cars and this is by far and away the nicest car I’ve ever owned. But this is about Jim...he certainly knows and believes in his product, which made me feel at ease working with him. So good we went back for a second Outback two weeks later! At first we went shopping for an all wheel drive vehicle for my partner. She had it narrowed down to a RAV4 and the Outback. After checking with seve At first we went shopping for an all wheel drive vehicle for my partner. She had it narrowed down to a RAV4 and the Outback. After checking with several other dealerships we went to Sommer's and met up with Jim Naus. For my partner it was her first time purchasing a new car and she was thoroughly impressed with the way the way Jim approached the sale with her. She ended up purchasing a 2019 Outback Limited for a price that no other dealer would match. (It didn't hurt her decision to go with the OB as I had previously owned four of them since 1997). I was driving a 2017 Honda CR-V at the time but after driving her car as much as I could for two weeks I knew I had made a mistake purchasing the CR-V so I went back to Jim and purchased another OB for myself. I now have my fifth OB and we have matching cars in the garage except for color. Jim has been truly outstanding to work with and I give him my highest recommendation. Sommer's has the largest inventory and the best prices so it was very easy for both of us to find the exact car that we wanted. More

He is very honest, knowledgeable, and easy going. I did not receive the daily interactions typically received by dealerships or the pressure that follows. He is more than willing to help in any way he can and I highly recommend working with Jim. I'm very happy my first stop was at Sommer's! Exceptional car buying experience! I have been a loyal Sommer's customer and Subaru owner for nine years, and have always been very happy with the customer service. I had been interested in upgrading my Crosstrek for an Outback, and Jim Naus went out of his way to make the experience as easy and painless as possible. I was able to trade in my Crosstrek and drive home with a new Outback in a matter of hours. Jim's calm and pressure-free style was so welcome in what can be a very overwhelming situation.
