We found online a Hyundai that had almost all the options we were looking for. We decided to check it out. When we arrived at Arbogast, Joe greeted us immediately. We informed him of our interest and he directed us to the vehicle. As we indicated our interest to drive it, Joe informed us they would be closing in ten minutes. He offered the car for an overnight trial and we accepted. (Not an option you get from every dealer.) Since the following day was Saturday we took our time checking out the Hyundai. We ended up not really satisfied with this particular model. As we returned to the dealers we took another look around. Joe of course was right there helping us all the way. He even had other customers he was working with at the same time. As we checked out other cars & suv's nothing really got our attention. By this time Joe was tuned in to what we were looking for and suggested a Saturn Vue, redline series. We liked the sporty look, and it had the extra's we were looking for. After taking turns driving it we decided to purchase the Saturn. As negotiations ran after hours. Not once did we feel rushed or pressured. We went to the dealership just to see a Jeep Compass that we had found on the internet. We were promptly greeted by Joe, and felt very comfortable with him immediately. No pressure, which is what everyone dreads when visiting a dealership. We were invited to take a test drive, which we did. Upon returning, we were again promptly greeted by Joe. We were invited to his office, offered a refreshment, and discussed price. We came to an agreement and were taken to the finance department. The reason I gave the OK rating on my overall experience, is that the finance person was not happy about taking care of us after closing time, and it was very rushed, and we left not really knowing what happened?! But when we left that office, Joe was right there happy to stay after closing and had the car ready for us to drive home. We were also not happy about the $250 doc fee, as we know that this is a pure profit fee that is not required, but we paid it, as we felt we were getting a good price on the car. Joe Bauman is what made our experience a good one, as rushed as it was, and we would definately recommend him to others. More

I had contacted other dealerships from seeing them on the internet and the sales person either didn't get back to me or they did not take me seriously. I called Dave Arbogast about a 2008 Saturn Outlook, there website was easy to follow and useful. When I called I spoke with a Joe Bauman who immediately went into action. He took all of my information and within an hour he told me I was approved and that I could come get my vehicle. I was excited to say the least. On the day I went to pick up my vehicle, it was sitting waiting for me, freshly washed!!! It took no longer than an hour to sign paperwork and for me to be back on the road. Dave Arborgast and Joe Bauman made me whole again. I have found where I will be purchasing my vehicles from now on, The Dave Arborgast Family. They are now offically part of my extended family. The weather was unfavorable for outdoor shopping so Joe invited us inside his office, offered us a refreshment, and proceeded to use his computer to find us the right vehicle on the lot according to our needs. In a very short time we had found the perfect vehicle that met all our criteria. Joe assisted us in examing, test driving, and learning the instruments of the vehicle. Joe never pressured us in any way. He assisted us in a payment plan and warranty options that fit our budget. Before we knew it we were on our way in the perfect fit vehicle for us with Joe's immpeccable customer service. From the salesperson to the secretary to the finance agent, we were extremely impressed and 100% satisfied with our experience. Believe it or not, I'm talking about "certified" vehicles. Therefore, no need for for the hard sell--just a sales person giving you options based on what you want/need and can afford. (There was no "catch" or "gotcha") And, our sales person--Joe Bauman--didn't disappear after we confirmed our choice. Karen, the finance person was also great. Add really good post-sale service and you can't help but leave happy. I have absolutely no regrets for making the four hour round trip. More

I worked the sale through Joe Bauman and he was very helpful and courteous. I have never purchased a van out of state and without actually seeing and driving the van. After we reached an agreement on price, Joe and others worked dilligently to arrange for the paperwork and delivery of the van here in Texas. The whole process was easy and very timely given all of the logistics involved. When the van was delivered and unloaded from the truck, it looked terrific! I am a new mother who was in need of a 4 door vehicle at a great price and that's exactly what I got. I contacted Joe on Wednesday and stopped by the dealership on Thursday with very limited time, Joe worked with me as quickly as possible as I was on a tight schedule and he then contacted me with all the information I needed to decide to drive straight back to the dealership and pick up my new jeep. I am very happy with my purchase and very impressed with the service I received from all departments. I have already recommended Joe at Dave Arbogast to two of my closest friends and I plan to contact Joe for any future purchases. More
