My experience was less than desirable. I went in to correct a 5 dollar key problem but when I left it turned into a $2300.00 plus tire problem and a brake problem and which the brake problem was determ correct a 5 dollar key problem but when I left it turned into a $2300.00 plus tire problem and a brake problem and which the brake problem was determine to be an inaccuarte anlysis of the vehicle. At 10k miles all 4 tires were worn. Intially the service represenative indicated two tires needed to be replace. Within the hour the service represenative indicated all 4 tires needed to be replace. The service represenative described the tires to be worned to the point that I would be putting my life in great danger, if I were to drive the vehicle at this time. The Service represenative indicated the inside of the tires were worn to the cord. The picture he painted and described to me was total catashophic failure. Being that he is the service represenative I took his and the technicians anlysis of the tires to be true. The service represenative indicated that the only tires available were the Pirelli's for the 2020 Maserati Ghibli at a price of 400.00 for each tire and 300.00 for the alignment. I thought it was over priced but I decided to purchase the tires due to the anlysis made by the service represenative and technician, and if I drove the car down the street I would be facing a catastrophic failure with the current tires. Four days later the service reprsentative contacted me and stated I need front brakes and that it would cost 1000k plus. The Maserati only has 11k miles on it. I have researched and spoken to other Maserati Ghibli drivers and they have 49k miles on their vehicle and have never replaced the brakes. Further more I took the Maserati Ghibli to an independent mechanic / company and they stated the brakes were fine. I have owned a Maserati Grand Turisimo with 17K miles plus and never had the brakes replaced. Also the tires were replaced on the Grand Turisimo from Tyre Hut in Fort Lauderdale on Sunrise Blvd and they were not 400.00 a piece. Tyre Hut would have replaced all 4 tires be it Continental tires or Pirelli's to include the alignement for 1300.00. AS I stated before the service represenative painted a picture of complete catastrophic failure if I drove the car one mile. Three days after receiving the Maserati Ghibli back the alignement is not correct and the vehicle pulls to the right after paying 300.00 for the alignment when the tires were replaced by Maserati. I have purchased over the years 14 vehicles from Maserati and I can't say I would purchase from this dealer again or have my car serviced by their technicians. It just seems odd that the car was serviced, Circa July of 2021 and none of this was discovered and that my vehicle was brought in toward the end of October and several issues were discovered. I have completely lost my confidencein Maserati of Fort Lauderdale and their service department. More
