Perkins Motors has absolutely the worse customer service I have ever dealt with in over 20 years of buying cars. I will never do business with the business again, would absolutely drive two hours away than I have ever dealt with in over 20 years of buying cars. I will never do business with the business again, would absolutely drive two hours away than deal with this dealership. We ordered a 2021 Jeep Rubicon, even added extras the dealer had to offer with ceramic coating etc… spending over $70k and the dealership never once called to let us know any information about the statuses of work, progress or issues. First issues we ran into was when the Jeep was delivered, the incorrect tires were on it. Dealership said they would make it right, eventually they did but it took over three weeks to get a set of tires in that I could of had in two days from any local shop(I called) but we waited patiently. We were told it would take less than a week to get them in. When we would call to check the status of the tires, we would be told whomever would answer the phone would check and have someone call back. We never once received a call back. We had to call every couple days during this three to four week process. Second issues we had was that once we dropped the Jeep off to have the tires installed, ceramic coating and tint completed we were told three days, of course it took longer. Even when we called to see if it was complete they said “yes, it will be wrapped up in 30 mins”. We showed up an hour later, only to sit there for another hour waiting on the tires after we told it would have been completed 30 minutes before we showed up. Lastly, when we purchased the Jeep, we told the dealership that we wanted to register the Jeep in z Michigan. They said no problem (this is the first car out of four cars that I have bought in CO and registered in MI that the dealership did not do the paperwork correct) and now I’m getting charged $1400 to register the car instead of the $150-300 tops I should have to pay. The dealership said “oops sorry nothing we can help you with” so I asked to talk to the finance manager. Whom I’m told is Aaron, so I called Aaron. He told me he would talk to the owner after I told him of all my issues. He said he would call me the week after Christmas with a follow up since they are a Christian Organization and he felt bad. As of today 16 JAN 2022, I have yet to receive a call back. Despite the fact that I have called and left a message at least weekly about the situation. Perkins Motors is the worse dealership I have ever dealt with in my life and would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Save yourself some frustration and drive a little bit further for better customer service. More
