So I understand that the car market is going through some crazy times right now, but that should not give the dealers to take the consumer for granted. I pre booked a car and waited for 6-8 weeks for it to be delivered. I made sure they won’t charge a markup on the MSRP. I even had it on a text from one of their salesperson. But when I finally drove 3 hours to a different state on the day of buying the car I was forced to pay markups. And I was bluntly told that I could let go of the car after they made me drive 3 hours cause they had multiple people waiting for this particular model. More
