I initially came in to Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk (with my father and son in tow) after my car was totaled in an accident. John sat down with us and asked several questions about what was most important to me to figure out exactly what I was looking for. Not only does he have a great sense of humor, I felt like he really wanted to make sure that I got the best car to fit our needs. I test drove 2 cars - one of them the 2012 Honda Civic. I fell in love with it. We left the dealership that night but returned a few nights later to buy it. After sitting with John to answer questions for the paperwork, Samantha took us out to the car and went over every part of it and patiently answered all of our questions completely and confidently. Paul then sat down with us to finish up the financing paperwork. They all truly made the car buying process fun - at no time did I ever feel pressured or uncomfortable about anything. Everyone else at the dealership was wonderful, too - they were all friendly, professional and courteous. I highly recommend Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk and John, Sam & Paul. They will definitely hear from us the next time we buy a car. More

Throughout the years that I have purchased vehicles I have had the opportunity to interact with many car salesmen and I can't tell you how happy I was to deal with a person like John. He was the most pat have had the opportunity to interact with many car salesmen and I can't tell you how happy I was to deal with a person like John. People like John make the process of purchasing a car actually pleasant most of the time I have dealt with sales people that just make the process much more difficult. I first met John in September 2011 when I purchased my 2011 CR-V. John was wonderful! He took the time to explain everything and was very patient with all my questions. Fast forward to March 2012 and I saw my first 2012 CR-V. You see, when I purchased my first one I just wanted to get out of my Jeep and I took a base model. Typically, I love all the toys e.g. leather, heated seats, moon roof, XM, etc. When I laid my eyes on the 2012, I called John right away. He explained my options which at the time I did not like. So, I waited another 6 months and call him again. Actually, I think there were a couple of calls in between. I told him I had driven by and saw a white on beige leather CR-V with all the toys that I had to have. I think I also left a remark about calling "that other Honda dealer" too. John called me back and his first words were: Really Christine, I thought we were friends...did you really mention that "other dealer". Love him! He asked what time I could come by today and I said 5:30. He said he would be waiting. I left with the car. I have passed John's name to many family and friends. He is a great asset to the company. I plan to visit John for my next CR-V. Although, I'm sure he would like me to wait at least 2 years. More

We tried going there to trade-in our 2 hondas, but they can't even satisfy their repeat customers so we left. After reading reviews using Google, we saw that Metro Honda only has 2 star ratings, and read the customer reviews. At least 2 of the reviews are very similar to our personal experience! The "sales manager" who talked to us before we left was very rude and try to haggle us down. That night, I searched for another dealership near Rhode Island And we saw that Herb Chambers HONDA in Seekonk, MA has 4 star rating. So we went there the next day, to see why they have a 4 star rating which is really high. John H. our sales consultant From start to finish..... was very professional w/ excellent customer service. He is direct to the point, helpful, and NO BS! My wife and I know what we wanted, and we did a lot of research specially with LEASE Prices of vehicles. I showed John H., the prices that I wanted for the 2 vehicles....and he matched them without any issues. He made our BUYING EXPERIENCE .....FUN & Educational!!!! Which should be the case when consumers get into a dealership. People shouldnt be stressed out and disappointed. My wife and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND John H. for your car needs! I highly recommend Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk to anyone searching to purchase a car. They are very professional, helpful, kind, and honest. They have changed my opinion of the typical car dealer. My salesman was John Henriques who was a pleasure to deal with. There was never any pressure to buy. John was very low key and seemed genuinely interested in making me happy and comfortable with my decision on a new car. He encouraged me to take my time and test drive all cars I was interested in and return when I was ready. When it was time to negotiate a price we settled quickly on a fair price which showed me that Herb Chambers respects knowledgeable customers. I also dealt with Bill Panaccione, the finance manager, who was also pleasant and patiently explained my options on additional items like an extended warranty and Lo-Jack, etc. Again this was done without pressure or over selling. This dealership seems to have a philosophy of making less on a transaction is ok because they want to be a sales volume leader and have happy repeat customers. The best customer is not one who you make an extra dollar from but rather one who returns for future sales! Thanks to John, Bill, and the entire Herb Chambers Honda staff. P.S. I LOVE my new CR-V. Therefore, my wife and I were very surprised when we went to the Honda Chambers dealership in Seekonk, MA, and had a chance to meet with our salesman John Henriques. John was a completely opposite from what we were expecting to deal with when we went to a dealership to buy a new car. He was, of course, interested to sell a car to us, but he was never forceful in his idea to do so. From the beginning he showed a real interest in what we were actually looking for, and he tried to implement all his findings in order to choose a perfect car that would suit our needs. Nevertheless, John was exceptionally polite as well as knowledgeable about his job. John made this experience of shopping for a new car exceptionally enjoyable and we will definitely spread the word about him, as well as about the Honda Chambers dealership in Seekonk, MA. More

At the recommendation of my sister and brother-in-law, I booked an appointment with John Henriques at Herb Chambers back in February when my 17-year-old Toyota blew a head gasket. I arrived at the dealership on a Saturday afternoon with my Chief Negotiating Officer (a.k.a. Dad) in tow and was promptly greeted by John, who was finishing up a transaction with another client. Prior to meeting John, I was an absolute wreck--up until that day, the most expensive thing that I had ever bought was a MacBook Pro! I had prided myself on graduating from college without racking up student loans, so the prospect of going into debt over a car terrified me. As soon as I met John, the anxiety started to fade. I remember being impressed with John's professionalism, sense of humor, and compassion. While I credit my dad with scoring me a great deal my 2011 Civic, I credit John with accomplishing an much more difficult task--he patiently and calmly put up with my father for the afternoon! In the months following my car purchase, John has phoned or written a number of times to check-in with me and to ask me if there was anything that he could do to be of further assistance. John explained the car and the buying process so thoroughly that I haven't needed to take him up on his offer yet (and possibly never will), but I am absolutely sure that when the time comes to buy another car, his number will be the first I call. More
