I knew my 12yr old Honda Pilot needed repairs, oil change, an inspection and a recalled airbag replaced. He clearly explained to me my vehicle needs, costs, answered all my questions and helped me get my car safely back on the road. He went above and beyond, kept me updated on my repairs and gave me the best customer service I've ever had. This is the place to go! Mohawk Honda is clean, inviting, has friendly, professional staff who know their stuff. Great service with a smile From the date I purchased my new Honda Accord in April 2017(My second Accord as I still own my 2009 which runs like a top) , to this visit a year late From the date I purchased my new Honda Accord in April 2017(My second Accord as I still own my 2009 which runs like a top) , to this visit a year later for my first service visit since I bought my car, I have had nothing but a wonderful and positive experience. John was great as my salesperson, and I was ecstatic to learn is now in service. He was great about scheduling my appointment, and getting me in a very timely manner. When I arrived he greeted me with a big smile, and got me through my paperwork quickly. John is really an asset to the service department. From the beginning, Travis made us feel and know that we were in the right hands. His professional yet personal way of dealing with my wife and me cannot be reduced to mere words. We felt cared for and treated in ways that one might expect a younger family member might treat a couple of old people like us should be treated, Our finance person was John Barber, and he also treated us with great dignity and respect. I had no doubts that John also had our best interests at heart when it came to the hard questions of money. Thank you, John We also had to deal with the service department briefly, to remove a small part from our trade in, that we wanted returned to us. John Higgins made that process go smoothly and easily. Thank you for taking care of that in such a professional manner, John. We never allow anyone to service or touch our cars except Mohawk Honda. We travel to Florida a lot and yet make certain that scheduled service only occurs when we are in the Schenectady/Scotia area. Everyone I interacted with at the dealership was incredibly friendly and helpful. It was the first time in my arduous search for a vehicle that I felt like people were actually trying to help me. I felt that my needs were listened to and accommodated. They were flexible and really went out of their way to enable me to complete my purchase. I could not be happier or more satisfied with the process, deal, and car. They truly did everything in their power to help me purchase the vehicle I wanted at a price I could afford, and I could not be more grateful. I have a lot of confidence that the vehicle I purchased will last me for many years to come, but when it's time to purchase again I know I can have peace of mind at Mohawk Honda. Above & Beyond We were visiting relatives when we had problems with our Honda. We're out of state and didn't know where to go, but our relatives highly recommended M We were visiting relatives when we had problems with our Honda. We're out of state and didn't know where to go, but our relatives highly recommended Mohawk Honda. We got there about 2 hours before they closed on Saturday, so they weren't able to look at it until Monday. We were surprised when we got a call from John Higgins early Monday morning informing us the cause of our problem was the alternator. He also told us the cause of the alternator failure was an oil leak....which our local service department hadn't noticed even though they had changed the oil several weeks before. We gave John the go ahead to replace the alternator and then went out for brunch. We had just finished when we got another call from him saying the car was ready! We were able to pick the car up and still get home before dark! Dealing with John was a pleasure..he told us what he was going to do, did it, and kept us up to date throughout. He and the technician, Mike Healey, worked to get our car fixed as soon as possible so we could be on our way home. If we lived in the area, we would definitely be Mohawk Honda customers. THANK YOU! More
