That late that afternoon I arrived at the dealership and was introduced to John Phillips. John took me out for a test drive in the 2016 Toyota Tacoma I was interest in purchasing. He was knowledgeable about the vehicle and as well as the vehicle's previous owner. I didn't feel like I was just buying any car off the lot Upon return John and I quickly agreed to a deal. There was absolutely no pressure. John was concerned that I was getting what I needed. While waiting to meet with Jake, the Finance Manager to finish up the paperwork, John personally detailed the truck. Upon completing the remaining paperwork, I was driving out the door in my new truck in less than 2 hours. I will recommend John Phillips to anyone I know who is in the market for a vehicle. John is knowledgeable about the vehicles he sells and quite personable to deal with. I felt like I was buying a truck from a friend. Thanks to John and the Morong team for an A+ buying experience. After I had called and talked to John, he had the car ready out front (and washed!) for me when I got there and had arranged for my trade-in to be appraised while we were doing the test drive. He was very knowledgeable about the car and was able to offer a lot of information I hadn’t read in my research before coming in. I had been to another dealership before going to Morong and I appreciated how non-salesy Johns attitude was— he was genuinely interested in providing me with what I was looking for as opposed to pushing anything on me. They worked it out so that I was able to get a monthly payment I was comfortable with. I was the most intimidated about this part of the sale beforehand, but John and the Morong staff made it as stress-free as I could have imagined. More
