BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS! !! VEHICLE FAILED SMOG!!UNREPORTED DAMAGE UPON VEHICLE ARRIVAL!! Purchased a "CPO" vehicle from salesman Edwin Garcia Sarita APROX AUGUST 08 202 !! VEHICLE FAILED SMOG!!UNREPORTED DAMAGE UPON VEHICLE ARRIVAL!! Purchased a "CPO" vehicle from salesman Edwin Garcia Sarita APROX AUGUST 08 2025. ,besides him being antsy and pushy ,everything went downhill when he didn't want to provide a purchase order for my bank unless I did a $500 deposit then I jokingly asked if he'll top the gas tank, declined and started begging to give him a 5 star review for a full tank of gas. Moving forward, at moment of e-signing document I noticed they had added 10 miles on documents on top of it's true mileage (basically once vehicle is out the lot whatever issue it has I'm sure I'd get told "well you drove it 10 miles already, not our fault). I made them correct this against their will. I paid for vehicle to get shipped from NJ to California , upon arrival the vehicle has huge dents on the passenger side ,rock chips, scratches that were not mentioned and not shown when asked for full car details, videos and photos (Edwin Garcia Sarita sent them to me via his personal Whatsapp and via text). Clearly he avoided pointing the camera at the issues. Contacted Ivonne Flores (some type of unprofessional manager who avoids and hangs up on you) , sent all the pictures I was provided by Edwin Garcia Sarita + pictures of transportation company pointing out the dents, rock chips, scratches, the broken RF mirror ,etc. after multiple avoided calls, she finally responded stating the damages were shown and they can offer 500 as goodwill. Crazy. That's basically them admitting to the issue and trying to shut me up by signing a document and accepting 500 from them. Next, took the vehicle to get it smogged, fails . Called GM,took vehicle to local Chevy dealer, they put the scanner on and it's throwing at least 5 different issues + Theft Deterrent System has been activated and won't let me start the car unless I cycle through pressing the push start for a while in hopes that the vehicle recognizes the smart key. Sometimes it doesn't recognize the smart key at all leaving me keyless. Called Paramus Chevrolet, was told Ivonne Flores (manager) was not in the office ,explained the situation ,advised of seeking legal help for fraud and misrepresentation,Ivonne quickly tapped in the call, was told to send smog failure documents via email, I did exactly that. Now Ivonne Flores is telling me I need to drive the vehicle to reset whatever issue it has. Keep in mind the vehicle has temp tags from NJ in California , not registered; I'm not exactly at free will to drive the vehicle for who knows how long . To begin with the vehicle should have been ready to go when it got here, the vehicle isn't even passing smog! Worst dealership ever, while searching for auto shipping company I was advised and warned by a carrier that Paramus Chevrolet went down hill after the original owner sold the company. After all these issues they're still avoiding me and telling me I need to drive/ take care of vehicle issues on my own. I feel a responsible dealership would have scheduled me with a local dealership to get vehicle inspected and quoted for paint/body work under their company Paramus Chevrolet and get it taken care of,instead of being offered $500 TO SHUT ME UP AND FORCED TO SIGN A DISCLOSURE. Standing by for their resolution otherwise I'm sure any attorney would have a field day with them, cosmetic damage, the theft deterrent system warning, and the inability to pass a smog inspection--constitutes fraudulent misrepresentation and a deceptive trade practice. This was my first time visiting Paramus Chevrolet, and it was a great experience from start to finish. I had seen a 2025 Trax in black on black online and wanted to check it out in person. As soon as I walke was a great experience from start to finish. I had seen a 2025 Trax in black on black online and wanted to check it out in person. As soon as I walked into the dealership, I was greeted by CJ, who was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. He showed my husband and me the vehicle, answered all of our questions, and made us feel completely comfortable throughout the process. We ended up purchasing the vehicle and couldn’t be happier! CJ then introduced us to the finance manager, Mohamed, who was just as kind and knowledgeable. Both of them made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend Paramus Chevrolet if you’re looking for great service and a friendly team! More
Stay Away – Especially if You're a Single Woman I strongly advise anyone—especially single women—to avoid Paramus Chevrolet. I walked into this dealership in 2022 as a single mom with two kids, genuinely needing a reliable car. Looking back, I now realize how badly I was taken advantage of. It wasn’t until years later, when I purchased another vehicle from a reputable dealership, that I fully understood just how unfairly I was treated at Paramus Chevrolet. Fast forward to November 2024—I traded in the Chevy I bought from them and canceled all of the warranties they pressured me into purchasing. There were three total warranties from two different companies, all of which I now know were unnecessary and overpriced. The warranty companies issued refunds totaling nearly $3,000, but instead of returning that money to me, the funds were deposited directly into Paramus Chevrolet’s account. Despite clear documentation from both warranty companies—including the exact deposit dates, amounts, and transaction ID numbers—Paramus Chevrolet claims they only received money from one of the companies. The previous owner did send me a partial refund for one warranty cancellation but refuses to return the rest, which is over half the total refund amount. They continue to make excuses like “the owner never got your money” or “he doesn’t have it,” and it's been nearly six months with little to no communication. This is money I paid out of my own pocket, and there is no reason they should be keeping it. It’s unethical, dishonest, and incredibly frustrating. This dealership took advantage of me once—and now again by refusing to return money that rightfully belongs to me. Think twice before doing business with them. More
Kwami who is a business manager tries to charge me 2 different amounts attached to an extended warranty that were never agreed to. These 2 charges totaled 1600 dollars. When this crook was confronted wi different amounts attached to an extended warranty that were never agreed to. These 2 charges totaled 1600 dollars. When this crook was confronted with it his explanation was "one of them is a paint protection for when birds crap on your car". If you are stupid enough to buy a car from Paramus Chevrolet do now let that crook Kwami near you or the car!!! More

What a ripoff of a dealership, They tried to double charge and not give me credit on taxes for trade-in and purchase of new car, Salesperson Justin Quintero was friendly but the heavy set Hispanic Mana charge and not give me credit on taxes for trade-in and purchase of new car, Salesperson Justin Quintero was friendly but the heavy set Hispanic Manager who was giving him all the xx to try and rob me was pathetic when he tried to cover his dishonesty upon our exit, "Do I want him to pay my taxes"? What a joke, He probably doesn't even pay his own taxes. And as I told him & Justin, $2700 in Dealer fees is outrageous and in my 30 years of buying vehicles I've never experienced such a ripoff! Stay far away from this dealership until they learn to follow NJ Tax laws and stop ripping off customers More
Predatory behavior by service department. My Daughter took my car in for an oil change and was charged double compared to the emailed bill that I've received. When calling the service dep My Daughter took my car in for an oil change and was charged double compared to the emailed bill that I've received. When calling the service department to resolve the issue they put me on hold for a long time, then transfer me to voice mail. They have charged over $180 for an oil change and tire rotation for a Chevy Cruze and sent me the bill for $93.08 which is what it should have been. They also didn't respond to texts. I will file an official complaint against them. Do not touch this dealer with a ten foot pole. More
Absolutely horrendous experience! I originally came in with just my fiancé, but my father-in-law joined us when he got off of work. As soon as my father-in-law entered, he realized he I originally came in with just my fiancé, but my father-in-law joined us when he got off of work. As soon as my father-in-law entered, he realized he wasn’t going to be able to take advantage of me and his whole demeanor changed. For an entire hour, this man refused to give us a price all while continuously belittling myself, my fiance and FIL, my job, and all other teachers and made several racially motivated remarks about the town I work in and where my FIL grew up as well as the town many of mine and my fiancés family is from. He even got irrate after my father-in-law asked the simple question of, "Has he given you a price yet?". After finally coming back with a price that was not in our budget and very different from the advertised deal, the man continued to berate teachers and how "we don’t know anything" and "we're all just looking to come in and pay nothing". After having had enough of his bullying, I respectfully said we were not making a deal and requested to leave. On the way out of the office, Andy continued to make comments such as, “these people”, “you people”, and made a comment about how no other salesperson wanted to work with me, even though I had not spoken to any other salespeople. Of course, all these comments were made directly at me, the female, after my FH and FIL walked ahead. My FIL came back in to confront him and they nearly got into a physical altercation as Andy continued to make comments about us or should I say “these kind of people”. No one else in your store intervened other than to stop my FIL from re-entering until Andy started to get a little louder and bolder with his comments and was then told to leave the sales floor. STAY AWAY FROM PARAMUS CHEVROLET!!! More
CJ is awesome! Super friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He made our buying experience easy…especially considering we told ourselves we were NOT buying a car Super friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He made our buying experience easy…especially considering we told ourselves we were NOT buying a car at that moment! UPDATE: when I originally left my review, I’d like to note that I gave the dealership and our experience five stars. We’ve now owned our Traverse for 40 days. The problems began 8 days after we bought the car. The backup camera failed. We were told we could not get a loaner car for another week. When we dropped off the vehicle for service, it took another 11 days to be told the problem had been resolved. When we went to pick up the car, not only was the backup camera still not working, but the radio was also not working now. We were immediately put back into a loaner vehicle. It took another 8 days to get an update from the service department. We are now being told that they have ordered a new radio and they are still diagnosing the issue with the backup camera. This has been a completely ridiculous, frustrating, unprofessional experience and the only consistent part of their customer service is that it is terrible. During the process, more than 4 messages were left to speak with the general manager, and it took more than a week to get a call back. The dealership having possession of my vehicle for 19 of the 40 days we’ve owned it is inappropriate and gives us pause in bringing any future business to them. Based on my current experience, I cannot recommend this dealership. The only positive part of our experience was working with CJ, our salesperson. More
