My diesel Ram 2500 was repaired under extended emissions warranty and has not yet failed as of 21Apr26. That is wonderful. However, as best as I can tell, this Dealership and Ram's nation-wide management warranty and has not yet failed as of 21Apr26. That is wonderful. However, as best as I can tell, this Dealership and Ram's nation-wide management failed to repair this truck in a realistic time frame When I made the appointment stating the symptoms for the work order, I asked the service rep to confirm with the parts person parts were available, and he confirmed any diesel emissions parts needed were available. I was then told the appointment would be for 6 days away. Once I brought the truck in, it took me several calls over 3 or 4 days to be told it had not even been brought in yet for maintenance. Then, over the next few weeks, it awaiting parts. Then, maintenance could not begin, awaiting another two parts. Then, when those parts were received, the DEF injector could not be removed, with another week awaiting that part. My point is, there is poor parts management fleet wide! They told me of a similar parts unavailability, fleet wide, regarding a 3500 dually. Maintenance management, inability to hire enough diesel mechanics, and fleet-wide parts management, based on stocking enough spare emissions parts based on the fleet-wide emissions statistical failures, which contributed to this unacceptable customer service. This Ram truck was well built, drives well, and it serves a nation-wide customer diesel 2500 need. The work that was done was fantastic with little difficulty. The communication from the dealership however was atrocious. They didn’t communicate about what work needed to be done, in addition there difficulty. The communication from the dealership however was atrocious. They didn’t communicate about what work needed to be done, in addition there is an automated system that forwards you to a call center before you can talk to anyone. Getting through to the actual service center was the most difficult part. While I appreciated the quality of work, the customer service made for a frustrating experience. More

While we have reached an acceptable end result, the time it took to get there, and the general delay in communications out from the service department is a problem. There have been multiple times were an it took to get there, and the general delay in communications out from the service department is a problem. There have been multiple times were an issue comes up after dropping off my vehicle for service, having been missed by the service department. Whenever I have recently had my vehicle in for service, I do not receive timely updates, with often the only way I receive an updating behind calling in myself. It is clear that they need to devote less resources to sales, and more resources to service. I have been pestered repeatedly to buy a new car from them by the sales department, while being told that the service department is overloaded with work. Chuck Hardy, you seriously need to reevaluate what your prioritizing here. The "Contact Chuck" part of your website says someone will reach out to someone who has a concern when they reach out to you, but I never received one, which I think is perhaps the best example of the communication issues Vision has. More
