Good afternoon, We would like to sincerely apologize for your experience. After speaking with our Service Manager, Service Advisors and Lane Staff we understand that you came in with a check engine light and we diagnosed and repaired that issue in time for you to leave for your vacation. Our Technician did test drive this vehicle to ensure that the check engine light issues were taken care of. However, when we were reseating the harness, the connection was not tight and this allowed for a fuse to blow. Unfortunately, this issue was not caught during the test drive as it would be abnormal to check for turn signals when test driving for a check engine light. As soon as we were notified of the issue, we had you come back and placed you in a loaner vehicle while we work to ensure complete resolution. We completely agree and understand your frustration. However, this was not caused by a desire to have a rental car returned to us. As soon as we were made aware of the issue, we did what was within our power to rectify the situation at hand. Our Customer Relations Manager would be glad to speak with you personally at our location. After speaking with our General Service Manager, we understand that she spoke with you on this matter and informed you that the law itself states that we are NOT able to allow you to leave without a rejection sticker on your vehicle after we have performed a state inspection. The law also states that a torn wiper blade will have your vehicle fail inspection (even if it is still clearing the windshield). With that being said, as a business that prides itself on quality customer service, as well as one that truly believes that customers are family, we have to deny your claims. Our team would never rip, tear or abuse a vehicle so we could turn a profit. Considering that today is the very last day of the month, numerous customers are in for their state inspection. Unfortunately, we do not make appointments for this service, as it is first come first serve. After speaking with our General Service Manager, we've learned that you indeed purchased the vehicle from our team and then took it to GMC Buick six times. Unfortunately, we were unable to duplicate the concern you had with your vehicle. We drove it OVER 80 miles and even went to General Motors for technical assistance. General Motors specifically instructed our team not to go any further since the car exhibited none of the concerns brought forth. Per our records, another dealer has already replaced the infotainment/nav screen once (even though they too were unable to duplicate failure). Our customers and their vehicles are our number one priority and we will always do all in our power to rectify the situation at hand.
