My 2021 Tiguan w/1500 miles became inoperable with transmission and engine issues and was towed to the dealership on 10/9. I called on 10/11 and asked for an update, no call back. Called on 10/12 an transmission and engine issues and was towed to the dealership on 10/9. I called on 10/11 and asked for an update, no call back. Called on 10/12 and again, no call back. On 10/13 I called and was told it was ‘done’ though they couldn’t find anything wrong. We had the car less than 12 hours and it locked up again, this time while it was in motion, just powered down and died. Called roadside for the 2nd time in 6 days. Today I traded it in because I don’t feel safe in this car and I don’t think they have the time or knowledge to fix it. They were much more focused on fixing airbag recalls and frankly, they’re understaffed. A couple of the sales guys stood outside vaping while these guys were running around like crazy, maybe get them on the phone or help the service guys. More
